I like the site.  Don't see a problem with it.  Don't like, don't log on to it.

I've met Jussi from the Finland supporters club.

Not the proper one  O0 mackems.gif

Yes the proper one, he is in one of the pics on the site. Young lad about 20/21. He was railing through Euro and we met up for beers in Hamburg.

Has anyone else been experiencing weird font sizing effects recently?

yep, been like that with me for a week or so. On safari anyway.

the problem is not in your TVs and yeah, smaller fonts are sexier..

my guess is that the guy that normally uploads the content and understands more of the techie stuff is on holiday and the other guy probably doesn't really care about style sheets and such :)

Looks fine at work and on my PC on IE7

so that clarifies the problem..

when the font size isn't defined, the browser takes its default value.. and Firefox and IE have different default values for font size.. or not :?

Been down since last night for me.

Anyone else have a twinge of excitement when nufc.com or here is down and wonder for a fleeting second if it's overloaded because something huge has just happened?

no, just presume some techie/geek has presssed the wrong button.

looking at the html source for the page, it looks ok...

<font size="2" face="Verdana"><i>“It’s good to be back at the club - we
have a lot of games coming up, so hopefully I will get a couple of run-outs
  soon.</i></font>

is used in the Tim Krul article, and

<font size="2" face="Verdana">After Steve Harper recently urged the club to
make further signings, fellow goalkeeper <b>Shay Given</b> has made similar
  public comments:</font>

in the Steve Harper article, however they're rendered in completely different sizes on my phone's browser.  They're fine on the work machine's IE6, and the only difference is the fact one of them is italic.

:idiot2:

I'd think that there's a bad HTML tag in there somewhere - there's definately no need to define the font on every paragraph, and it would make things so much easier for them by using a stylesheet
