Good news really, Sibbers wants first team football we cannot afford to give him any.

 

He would have been the equivalent back up of Lee Clark two seasons ago. He isnt good enough for where we want to be, but would have sat in the squad until we were stupidly short.

 

Fair play to him for not wanting to sit and pick up the pay check. He always gave his all for us and scored some important goals.

 

He came as a joke, but leaves in good graces, hes no Ketsbia but he ican proudly feel he is the second best cult hero, bald player weve had!

When Roeder shit himself realising he had pissed away the transfer window looking at Kuyt, how does that change the fact we should have signed someone better?

at the time we all saw it as a panic buy didnt we? he played well which made it more easy to swallow getting an old squad type player but doesn't mean I would be quick to offer the guy a long term contract.

so we should have signed someone better, but we didn't so we got Sib, but now we're glad he's going because he should never have been here? Even though if he wasn't here no-one else would have been? how does that work? Just accept he did a job for the club, if we could have got someone better and didn't, that's hardly his fault is it?

Well Steven Taylor,our CB scored 4 goals this season which is 50% of wor Sibierski goalscoring ratio.

So i think someone like Steven Claridge would have done even better job then wor Sib
