Karjala
With all of our injuries already building up, who would you pick as a starting line-up? Are you going? What will the crowd be like? Score predicition! --------------------------------------- Reaction from: http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=43105.msg934520#msg934520
ShearMagic
Starting line-up - I don't really know. Will he play the kids like he did against Carlisle? Or will it have a more first-team look? Am I going - I'd love to, unfortunately I'm 10000 miles away. Score prediction - I'll go a 3-1 win.
Karjala
Im going for a crowd of 30,000. Most people will be waiting for Juve, but also some will be tempted in by Sam's first home match. Be interesting to see if we have any more new signings to unveil by then. Which bars will have pre-match topless totty on?

Guest exilim
Our squad looks like shiet now. Given Geremi Rozehnal Huntington (Taylor) Ramage(Baba) Milner Butt ? Zogbia Ameobi Martins
toptoon
Assuming that Owen, Barton, Emre, Baba, Taylor, Duff are all still injured. I'd probably start with: Given Geremi Hunty Roze Edgar Milner Dyer Butt Zoggy Ameobi Martins Sorry edited to take out Viduka.
Guest gggg
I think it's in the PL rules that players need a 4 week break before they can start playing so Viduka's miles away.
Skirge
Will be a tough game but our first home game under Sam so I reckon we will come out flying. --------------------Given Geremi----Taylor--------Roze------Ramage Milner------Dyer---------Butt--------Zoggy ------------Shola--------Martins

Guest Guinness
Are Taylor, Emre and Edgar (after the U20's WC) back in contention for this one? Working under the assumption they're not and that Dyer is leaving: ---------------------------Given Solano------Rozehnal--------Ramage-------Carr Milner---------Geremi----------Butt---------N'Zogbia ----------------Ameobi----------Martins
Kev
i think there will be about 32,000 including 2,000 celtic fans at least Given Geremi Rozenhal Ramage N'Zogbia Milner Solano Butt Luque Shola Martins 2-2 Shola x2
J7
Celtic will proberbly bring about 10'000. They treat these games like league games.
Karjala
Aye, i reckon at least 2,000 jocks on the bevvy. Predict a 3-3 draw. Krul Geremi Roz Hunty Solano Milner Butt Dyer N'Zog Martins Carroll

PCW1983
A lass told me Celtic are grtting 15000 tickets but 25000 are making the journey. Anyone know anymore
PCW1983
Id like to see that Lough kid start at LB for this one, didnt look to bad against Carlisle and yess i do realise the difference in class but no harm in trying.
Karjala
A lass told me Celtic are grtting 15000 tickets but 25000 are making the journey. Anyone know anymore 25,000?? as in twenty five thousand? Seriously doubt it like, and if there is, they really are treating this like a champions league match, like they seem to in all friendlies against english teams. Wonder how many of them need a day off work to make the match?! I'd guess a max of 3k will make it. Onto the previous poster - Kids are free, with an Adult ticket (£15). You can also get adult tickets in L7 for £10.
Newcastle Fan
If the same players who missed the Carlisle game are still out, i'll start with Krul Carr Ramage Rozenhal Huntington Dyer Geremi Solano N'Zogbia Carroll Martins Subs:- Harper Lough *might be injured* Pattison Troisi Bertram Alex Francis Lua Lua Goodsmark Luque
NSG
I think he'll go something like: ----------------Given--------------- Carr---Ramage----Roz------Zog ---------------Geremi------------- --------Solano-------Butt--------- Martins----------------------Dyer --------------Carroll--------------
Rich
Would people agree that his only fit "senior" players for this one would appear to be (and this is best-case scenario): Given, Harper, Krul, Carr, Edgar, Ramage, Huntington, Rozehnal, N'Zogbia, Solano, Geremi, Milner, Butt, Dyer, Luque, Martins, Ameobi and Carroll? Missing will definitely be: Babayaro, Taylor, Barton, Duff, Emre, Owen and Viduka (all arguably current "first-choice" players!) I'm not as thrilled about paying £15 for this game as I was a while ago, that's for sure.
Newcastle Fan
Why not, would be a good chance to see some of our youngsters/future players in first team action..
