Tino is the kind of defender you can see shutting down vinicious Jnr in a champions league semi final away game Hope man City F off
-
Romano Just said he is City's number 1 target Can see us only accepting a crazily high fee Young, genuine world class talent defensively, can play on both sides, tall and rapid, paid £35m for him, 3 years left on deal (I think). We also have an old Trippier and Krafth as back up, so it isn't like we could just sign a cheap/talented replacement and not expect a drop in performance across the squad £80m +

Doesn't he lack explosive pace? He has good instincts and can strike a ball sweetly, but never seen him giving defenders that much problem getting in behind.
-
I'm getting the long sleeve pro version with all the trimmings. just to spite you Do it! I'm not even critiquing the shirt really, it was just a jape at how folks generally salivate over anything with long sleeves. Anyway, I said this morning that I didn't want to be a fun sponge so I'll keep me trap shut now. I'm genuinely excited for the aways.

It’s pretty close to the team we went to at Arsenal when we changed to 4-3-3
-
If Everton have a defence which lacks pace then we need to hit them with pace. Might be a factor for starting Willock over Miley if either of them is being considered. It was infuriating watching crosses coming in against Arsenal when we had no one busting a gut to get in the penalty area last week.

There's another defender out as well, isn't there? Should be interesting with a patched up defence. Just hope Doucoure doesn't turn into Eusebio on his final game for them. -

Bet Jimmy Rat gets a proper bonk on when he's sacking people.
-
Aye at this moment in time I don't think Ratcliffe has done a great deal wrong. All the financial nonsense is a consequence of The Glazers.

On this topic, probably

Imagine if we'd taken "HATE FUTUREHEADS" flags to Wembley?

Remember when going to the states or a weak league meant your international career was over? Surely we have better than toney at this stage. Delap can he play?

you just the resident misery these days?

Adopts Barry Norman voice... Mark McManus, the actor best know for playing Taggart, takes the lead role in the sequel to How To Get Ahead In Advertising, the 80's cult classic starring Richard E Grant Entitled "How to Get Beat in Bilbao", this update to the original plot sees a whisky addled former Manchester United manager and knight of the realm developing a large boil on his right shoulder that comes to life with both a face and voice

Coleman out with a thigh injury -
I think the long-sleeved version is dreadful due to the change to stripes after the shoulder - looks like it's been patched together. In general the shirt looks better on the players than the leaked version but still pretty poor. The problem is shoe-horning a striped shirt into an Adidas template while simultaneously trying to do something different year on year. There's loads of people on here (not me) who could probably come up with something significantly better in half and hour, if they didn't have those restrictions.

Kit looking more an more like the 09 shirt but with black cuff/collar Same blue piping, same white back. same long sleeve stripe breaks, similar stripe pattern
