  1. Past hour
  2. yeah probably a reasonable enough request, we've been fortunate to have the first game at home last 4 years or so since covid I think.
  3. To be fair, nothing has actually moved and the club doesn't tell him anything. The athletic are kinda giving us the big club treatment by including us in these none updates every week.
  4. Probably too much hassle. Could just make them play their first two games away like.

    Anthony Gordon

I reckon it was 'cause he had a brilliant season, got picked for England ahead of Grealish, but only played about 2 minutes the whole tournament, and didn't even get picked for games everyone was saying he should've been in. Southgate really knocked the lads confidence. Plus, nearly all the English wingers had a patchy season – Palmer, Foden, the lot. He'll be back to his best next season after a summer break. We definitely shouldn't sell him, IMO.
  6. Waugh has updated his deal sheet in the athletic but he has no updates so save your time.

    England

YouTube showing me highlights from a year ago, in my defence it was 2am
  8. This has taken far too long tbh. Eales announced he was stepping down in September

BHA fan here again in peace. JP is def leaving us - he wants to go and club want rid. In the offices ‘No Dickeads’ is written in huge letters across a wall and unfortunately JP has crossed that line. His play acting when a defender says boo has been embarrassing (we all love it when one of our own players becomes the pantomime villain to opposing fans, but there is a limit and he goes way beyond). He also has a temper that earns unnecessary red cards. BUT he is a VERY good footballer. His goal stats are somewhat flattered by the fact that most have been pens (and he is not usually the earner of the pen) but what team doesn’t want a reliable pen taker? He is superb at pens and probably the best we’ve ever had. Goals from open play are less common (though the winning goal v Ajax in Amsterdam will never be forgotten) but his ability to create opportunities for others is undoubtable. What is he worth? Given the demand for strikers,£60M is probably fair. Though don’t be taken in by this. Tony Bloom never reveals his target fee and he always gets what he wants. Everything else is clickbait/media speculation. Should he go to NFC? I don’t know but if he does, I hope he does really well for you. But I have a suspicion he won’t be as great as some expect and so I hope he goes to Chelsea! all the best
  10. It's how teams perform in their respective tournaments in the last four years. Not entirely sure what the minimum requirement is, but Benfica got in specifically because they've made 2 consecutive CL quarter finals. Bloated indeed.
  11. Could they not play on a Sunday or is it not possible due to changes with pitch configuration etc?
  12. In the last 4 years they are 7th in the Uefa rankings.
  13. Seriously that's a criteria? What a bloated competition.
  14. Two qtr-finals in the CL in the last four years.
  15. On what basis did Benfica qualify for the CWC?
  16. It’s all being held on the east coast as the gold cup is being played on the west coast l. Funnily enough Saudi are playing as guests in that one too.
  17. Trying to find relegation odds for the National League but no luck yet. Gateshead 100% going down this season.
  18. I think it’ll be one of Barca (Lewandowski replacement), Bayern (Kane replacement) or PSG (Ramos massive upgrade).
  19. Today
  20. You do realise that WCC prize money was agreed and published long before PIF got involved yeah? So those clubs were getting their money regardless, and it’s not like them investing elsewhere will prevent them from spending what they can on us too. They invest that money expecting to make a return on it, not to strengthen our rivals. If anything it shows how massive their commitment to football, and consequently us, is. I think some people’s gripe with them is they invest in other things than us, when a) what they can invest in us is capped by anti-competitive rules and b) they are a massive investment fund, investing is what they do. Like it or lump it, we are part of a bigger portfolio. Unlike under Ashley though there is no sign whatsoever that we are being leached for their benefit. Quite the contrary I’d say. As pointed out, the presence at games of their chairman shows they are not only financially invested, but emotionally as well.
  21. That's a class header from Otamendi vs. Boca.
  22. Yes I think we’ll get one more season out of him wherever he goes.
