Waugh mentions and has mentioned previously that Kudus is one of the players we've discussed. Which makes perfect sense.
-
I don’t think he was ever actually attempting to make contact with that one. Bit bizarre and stupid like, and he could have ended up with a red. It was stuff like this that made you think he hasn’t been happy at Brighton the second half of the season. Seemed to generally appear more frustrated than we had seen from him before, hence stuff like this.
-
That's egregiously bad tbf!
-
Rumours are getting worse, ‘internally discussed’ FFS, what are you on about?
-
There was also this recently which would have been horrendous if he had made contact: https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11661/13281677/ref-watch-brighton-forward-joao-pedro-astonishingly-escapes-red-card-for-elbow-against-brentford

This. Either "NUFC" or "United" is acceptable. It's less ambiguous that way
-
My impression from reading the Brighton forums over the past couple of weeks is that most Brighton fans think the idea that he's a dickhead and that he's got a temper that leads to him getting silly red cards is an outside perception that people who watch him week-in-week-out wouldn't endorse. He's had a single red card and seven yellows in the time he's been playing for you (89 appearances) and other than the Van Hecke training incident my understanding from the majority of posts I've read on various Brighton forums is that he has been a professional who always gives his all on/off the pitch. Watford fans seem to think the same fwiw. Out of interest was there any other incidents besides the Van Hecke training bust up and sole red card that you base this on? Obviously as I'm just using third hand information there's a good chance I could be wrong about all of this, just curious as your point contradicts the mostly good things from Brighton fans I've heard re his attitude. Thanks for taking the time to post here.

Nobody is annoyed though. I think it's a bit sad to be honest. Just a daft comment on his choice of clothing. I'll know better next time. 🙂
-
Absolutely no problem with this, personally would probs use Brighton but if I was using initials it would be either BHA or BHAFC it would never be BFC for obvious reasons hence the request for NUFC
-
Egan Riley a strange one, can't believe no one in prem has looked at him on a free including us...22 year old and English, if he has good season for Marseille he'll be valued at 40m.
-
aah i see sorry i just realised you definitely aren't a fan! i would never use Brighton and Hove Albion!
-
Rehash of already known information taken from Waugh's piece.

Missed this. A little disappointed in the announcement and it really feels like Gateshead are going to be breaking all sorts of records at the wrong end of the table next season. Someone on Facebook put it quite elegantly - He was the only manager who would accept minimum wage.
-
On sale now for 25/26…

The "no dickheads" policy is a professional thing. Bad influences in the dressing room, poor trainers, those likely to stir up discontent or easily unhappy with a face on. Pep is big on dressing room harmony. Cancelo gets in a hump, he's out. Kyle Walker gets bladdered, goes to prostitutes and serially cheats on his wife. No issue with Pep.
-
Just for interest, would you talk about ‘Brighton’ or ‘Brighton and Hove Albion’? To us you are, in conversation, Newcastle - that’s all
-
Holy smokes! Seegull has just signed up, logged in and immedietly laid the smackdown on Kaka.
-
No he didn’t. Brighton don’t do release clauses. However, I believe a gentleman’s agreement existed which player, agent and club stood by
-
Yep. Always feel finding the player we want that fits in the projected wage structure of the club overrides the fee. Obviously we’ll want close to our valuation but if all other boxes ticked then I think we’ve shown with all our signings under this ownership that we’ve paid probably £5m above initial valuations.
-
I know we don't like paying 'above value' but I think there's another point here that sometimes slightly inflated transfer fees will give us free runs at players with achievable wages where if the fee were lower there would be more competition from other PL clubs or abroad. I think we will sometimes have to bite the bullet on this particularly if it's a target we've done a lot of homework on. This seems an example of this.
