Every squad is lacking in depth. Admittedly we lack more than most but if we made 4 signings like we did two seasons ago (2 first team players/two top youngsters) then with a bit of luck, with injuries, we could do it. I'm not saying we will but the other teams are no great shakes and are also screwed if they get key injuries. Look at our form the the past half season and mental toughness of the team, it's entirely possible.

Feel Everton could be a bit like us in 21/22. Years of anger and frustration, then a mid season change, increased form and a new positive optimistic mindset around the club. We had nothing to play for final game of that season, Arsenal had Champions League on the line and we battered them. Of course we were at home but still, pressure's all on us while they can just party like it's 1987. We're still good favourites to do it, but I think it could be a much tougher game than expected, especially if we don't score early.

Yeah it’s a sort of forgotten position, but that’s where he played regularly before first team football. I think he can play there he has quick feet, fluid player but hardly anyone plays with a ten of his ilk

Didn’t realise what a good job Moyes has done since taking over Everton. 4 defeats in 18 games. Villa 1-0 at home first game, then it’s been 1-0 Liverpool away, 2-0 Man City at home, then 1-0 Chelsea away. Going to be a tight affair.

I'll be nervous on the day but at the moment in the cold light of day I'm feeling OK about Sunday. Would probably rather have our game than anyone else's. Man U are the worst of the various opposition but I'd take a home game over an away game. If Isak plays (ever half fit) I'd fancy us. If we're playing Wilson or Gordon through the middle I'll be super nervous when that team drops.
