  1. Past hour
  2. I always worry about us in transition, especially against players who can attack the flanks at pace. The exciting thing is we have so much room to improve.
  3. Agreed, I'd just be inclined to find someone else this summer and then go for Guehi next. That way no money for Palace/Parish.
  4. We need a right centre half this summer. I love Schar but I think it's clear we can't continue with such a lack of place in our back line.
  5. I'd hold off another year and get him for free.
  6. Yesterday
  7. I reckon it happened and I’m satisfied with that as an acceptable burden of truth
  8. Eh Those quotes just mean they took them lightly, as in they didn't prepare properly That's wildly different to what you claimed Ange said
  9. They literally prove nothing. Not one quote from Ange calling them a nothing club full of semi-pros living in wooden huts.
  10. You do you. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/ange-postecoglou-celtic-tottenham-disrespect-35155875 https://uk.sports.yahoo.com/news/ange-postecoglou-accused-unseen-celtic-203623173.html https://thecelticbhoys.com/celtic-blamed-disrespecting-opposition-losing At least I'm not the only one without long term memory issues.

I've assumed for months that these will ace the playoffs, such is the lack of quality elsewhere. But their form + it being Coventry have sent me too far the other way..... too confident now
  12. Here I am, worried at the thought of us slipping to the doldrums of 6th place whereas our nearest and dearest have it all figured out already. If cracking the top 4 was so easy you wonder why they've only finished in the top 10 3 times in living memory. For the record, if we indeed did slip to 6th place, that's still higher than they've finished in 70 years. By what metric have us and Villa not been back in the prem long? Since the PL form we've spent a combined 5 seasons out the PL. They nearly spent that in L1 alone!

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Latest rumor in the media is that it'll be £40M this summer. Seems fair enough if true.
  14. Definitely but he’ll go elsewhere I reckon.
  15. Didn't happen. Never happened.
  16. We’ll get Guehi imo.

There is equally as little reason why with the right recruitment the wealthier, more attractive and far better teams already Leeds and Burnley couldn't beat them to it. Let alone the other wealthier 17 premier clubs. Our absolutely horrible 90/91 season (rank it as the worst non-Ashley season I personally experienced,) the epitome of midtable, lost at home to Bristol Rovers and Notts County, rock bottom Hull did the double over us etc. We were closer to automatic promotion than these this season.
  18. You back Kaiz into a corner...
  19. I can live happily without trawling through three year old news segments, if they're even available, on TV2s streaming service. Ange was a cunt and I highly dislike Ange for being a cunt, I'm not a B/G supporter, I'm an NUFC supporter – even though I enjoy a Norwegian team doing well in Europe due to being a Norwegian myself. I can also live with some people on here believing my personal reason for disliking Ange, for some reason, is made up – even though it does nothing for me doing so. I dislike Ange to the degree I'd much rather see Man Utd win the EL than Spurs, but that's my personal subjective opinion of one person based on my own experiences in life. I've said where I saw it, if it's a big deal to you, you now know where to go look. Not sure what you finding it or not will change, as I will still dislike Ange just as much regardless because I lived through that time period and saw it on the news and took personal offense from it to a degree it's present in me in the present

"Villa haven't been in long, or the Mags" I the last 32 years, we've only been missing from the PL for two seasons.
  21. Anyone else noticed that Burton Albion in League One started the season looking certain for relegation after only picking up 8 points in their first 16 fixtures, but then switching gears and finishing with the 11th highest point total for the last 30 matches of the season? What happened there after the first 16? They escaped relegation by one single point at the end of it all:
  22. It was an answer to a reporter from Norwegian TV2 before the return fixture between Celtic and B/G in 2022, came as an answer when asked if he felt the differences in club sizes meant Celtic's defeat at home in the first leg was "embarrassing" for the club and if Celtic stood a chance to overturn the two goal deficit away from home. Given the fact the Spurs vs. B/G match-up is a semi-final and the Celtic match-up was three years ago, and a Round of 32 match-up, it'll not be easy to sift through the recent stories when searching. He's been nothing but complimentary as far as I can tell this time around, but this time around he wasn't in charge of the first "big" club to get knocked out by the club like he was back in '22 either. Fwiw, this is Joe Hart reminiscing about it: “Obviously we do our analysis, very professional in the modern day – and I don’t feel confident saying it – but we professionally took them lightly, and we disrespected them." https://thecelticstar.com/joe-hart-admits-celtic-underestimated-bodo-glimt-in-2022/
