And for some strange reason keeps saying "Good Ebening".

Everyone is forgetting that Emery wakes up every night in a cold sweat thinking about his last three meetings with Eddie.

Aye, it's harder to score goals in Serie A than Premier League, so I guess West Ham got a bargain actually.

That particular attempt was pathetic too. Rolling it backwards with defenders a few feet away...it's always getting blocked
-
Yea, I didn't see that one either but was fun to watch! I knew handling a backpass from a teammate was no bueno but didn't know the law.

That free kick from the 6 yard mark in the Ipswitch game was something I don't recall ever seeing before.

Aye, let him have his day against his own side in a CL QF just to hike up his own price

If we win the next three, then we'll be in a very strong position to qualify top 5. I actually think Gordon will be key to this. I'm hoping we have a reaction, for his recent stupidity and additionally, with the fans sticking by him (unlike Everton fans), I honestly believe he will be really fired up on his return. -
His contract is up next season. It’s I’m everyone’s best interest that he is sold in the summer. He’s currently playing himself into a big money Saudi move at worst.
-
If I were the PSG owners - with immense wealth and influence - there's not a fucking chance I'd be letting Asensio put in any kind of shift against my side and not suffer repurcussions I'd have him back in the summer and staring into the reserves or pedaled to Steve Bruce otherwise
-
I think the media are on a witch hunt with him. They know he will react, so the goading is now constant. Just about every game he is the one manager, who is constantly in the headlines. You never see that with Arteta or previously Klopp, who are two utter cunts in their interviews. I'm not saying Ange shouldn't be asked questions about his style of management or team results, but, the media are deliberately trying to antagonise him now for a reaction.

When I was about 4 or 5 I rang Metro to tell a joke live on the airwaves. Paddy MacDee was the DJ. It was recorded on a tape for posterity so I’ve heard it more than a few times. Paddy asked me where I was from but I couldn’t remember, so you can hear me shouting for my mother to ask where we live. Cue much chortling from Paddy. Got sent a Metro FM goody bag with window stickers and various other promo items. Best days of my life

Annoying just how much I can remember about Nightowls from 30 years ago without any hesitation, but I can't remember where I've put my hat.

James Whale when he was on Metro years ago was very good also

Nightowls was class. Used to be some right heedthebaals ring, and Robson was quite inappropriate at times compared to what you would get away with now. Used to love that quiz he’d do.

Thats the point though. We 100% need to finish above Villa. We don’t need to finish above Forest. Yes. He’s surprise to requirements at PSG - if anything he’ll be extra motivated. Remember Lua Lua ending or CL hopes? Remember Morata knocking Real out of the CL for Juve when he was essentially there on loan. Good depth and got momentum. I expect PSG to dent that momentum mind. But the PL game couldn’t be easier.
-
I don’t want Villa thinking they have a chance of CL when we got to Villa Park. I don’t expect they can get to 67 points. But that does require them to drop points. The sooner the better. Forest or none of my concern. They don’t play any of our other rivals for the rest of the season. I expect them to get 68 points or more though. If we get 68 points we should get 5th. But we do need to keep an eye Chelsea, City and to a lesser extent Villa. A draw today would’ve pretty much ruled Villa out the race.

Question. Marco Asensio is allowed to play against has parent club (PSG) for Villa this week. He’s obviously become a key player for them but would you trust him to play in the two biggest games of your recent history?

Ton Cleverley became the longest servicing Watford manager since Javi Gracia last month (a year in charge). They've had 10 permanent managers in between.
-
Does mean we've got a better chance of catching Forrest though. Win at Leicester and we're only four points off them and a game to spare. Realistically, we could win the next three and be 3rd, won't be easy but it's do able.
