As has been said a new Visa should take 7 days.

Guess this could cause alot more problems for all the papers as well http://sports.yahoo.com/soccer/news?slug=ap-englishpremierleague-media the PL really are trying to control football far to much.
-
Recent managers, maybe not. But Ossie Ardiles (unwisely, as it turned out) staked his whole strategy on young players, many of whom (Watson, Clarkie, Elliott etc) went on to become key players for Keegan. To be fair Ossie didn't really have much choice.

There is apparently a code of conduct within the club with set out repercussions for breaking any of the rules. Players weren't happy when it first came in and thats when the group of players was set up to discuss with the board.

Having read the stuff from Pardew in the Journal it's pretty refreshing. He's finally saying that he's telling the board we need players and it's up to them to do it. He's finally not accepting responsibly for certain failures, he even mentions the failures of pre season which is good. Whether that means he won't last long in the job I don't know but if he starts being honest, says where the club is going wrong, admits they don't have all the answers so he's going to the likes of Alex Ferguson for help I won't have any problems with him.

Journal this morning says he's out: "The midfielder has been withdrawn from tomorrow’s friendly against Fiorentina and trained with the development team yesterday but the change in tone from Newcastle’s furious reaction to his Elland Road Tweets was marked. And, while Pardew chose his words carefully, it is clear that his personal relationship with the midfielder is repairable." Think Ferguson is fine as backup if Enrique stays. Very, very Big IF of course. I'd rather see him continue on the left wing than left back, I don't believe Pardew agrees with me though.
-
Sod a replacement plan we need a new left back regardless of whether Enrique goes or not. If he does go we need 2.
-
Thought he was a bad influence on them
-
Depends I guess what the thought is. It could be they are getting shot of Harper as has been suggested (part of the "group" in the club), letting Foster or Krul go on loan meaning they need an experienced goalkeeper to act as backup. The straight swap with Foster makes no sense.

That is the updates. We are not interested in Long and the Erdinc deal is dead. The new player they are talking about is just Tranquillo Barnetta They also say that Pardew wants Rob Green. Ah yeah I tried to forget that bit lol

"Newcastle also have no interest in Shane Long at this stage, despite some glowing reports from United staff members who have watched him in action for Ireland recently. The Reading striker is the subject of interest from Leicester. He could start by not saying stuff instead of making promises he can't keep. Theres a reason you never get a real answer from Hughton. Yes, lack of communication is always well appreciated by our fans. If you'd rather the listen to the nonsense from Pardew than what you got from Hughton enjoy it
-
It came from a member of the press giving away who had told them

The rest of the info he spouted was exactly the same as that which the national press got a hold of therefore it's probably the same source which apparently part of which was Beardsley who has proved in the past he knows noubt.
-
I think plenty of others would though tbh. I have no doubts, I'm happy if he takes his money back and pisses off myself though
-
Didn't he get played right back as well ?
-
If he comes out and says hes going to start paying back the loan at x amount a year I'd not have a problem, least the fat git had bothered to tell us for once rather than trying to hide it.
-
Nailed it. But as has been said Colocho without their sources in the club the Chronicle is no more. Why is that? Read the rest of this thread, no club access no story, no story no readers, no readers no paper.
-
Do they have the cash to last that long, Ashley has stuck it out since about 2007-2008 now who's to say how much longer he will say.
-
Oh aye, and who do you think will be the one getting the say onthe board as we won't all fit? Steve f***ing Wraith by any chance? To be honest in terms of the board I like the Barca model. 25 people randomly picked from the members (I believe over 25yr old only) who are then allowed to attend board meetings for that season and help make decisions.

Did they ever get round to explaining where their funds went to while they were doing sod all? Surely even the NUST would need to produce accounts at some stage? No accounts were shown as far as I know.
-
NUST was an ego trip set up by people for self publicity. To intentions of a few seems to be this yes but some like Peasepud (think he was one) were certainly looking to help the club and not themselves and put alot into NUST just to be left having no say and thinking whats the point.
