I didn't realise it was such a gruelling ordeal for our professional players to sit on a coach! Ah I agree but wait and see, the fuss the players made last time about having to go by coach was a joke. -

Bet alot of the big name players don't head down to plymouth not with that sort of journey when theres no need. -
Link? I assume he;s had the email sent to season ticket holders asking for 300 people to be "involved" in the launch. I dread to think. Have to be available 2.30 on that day.

Been there done that found f*** all. If I want that list I just load up FM Might help http://www.footballtransfers.co.uk/football-transfers/

Sold his share to Ashley behind Shepherds back while Shepherd was in hospital. Had nothing to do with Shepherd if he wanted to sell. Hall had wanted rid of his shares for years anyway. And I know people like their links of proof so here http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/hall-urged-to-stick-or-sell-newcastle-shares-after-takeover-fails-433175.html?cmp=ilc-n

One thing for certain you will look like a knob wearing 3d specs in a pub

As we should know from portsmouth the tv cash doesn't appear to come in one big block it's spread across the season so I doubt it'll be that much in the summer.

Newcastle United 2 - 0 Nott'm Forest - 29/03/10 - post match reaction from p15

Watching him mirror the opposition keeper during direct free kicks is always a good laugh as well -
Appeared to be forced to sell by the board and can't hate a man to much who brought us Nobby
-
Don't think Forest will get beat they still want second spot so it'll happen Monday.

Why? Mike Ashley and all of his arselicking minions have been telling us for 2 years that he will personally fund this club to the tune of £20m every season. Considering next year is vitually guaranteed to make a profit with the TV money going up again then he wont be able to use the losses as an excuse......of course he will try to but its by no means unrealistic to expect him to put that money in when we so clearly need it. Any any new purchases will have Premiership wages to go with it and put our wage bill up so the club has to be able to cover these costs as well as pay for transfers. Hopefully getting shot of the likes of Butt will clear some more room on the wages.

Grant came out and said he would rest his first team for the cup game this is there way to stop them getting a fine like wolves I guess. Can't see them being match fit for the semis mind.

West Ham agree fee in region of £15m with Liverpool for Andy Carroll

:nope: :nope: Bellamy is a prime example why you shouldn't ship out promising players with a bad attitude, Manchester City's most important player easily. Hughton should/must sort it out behind closed doors. The courts might not agree seen as the stupid arse is already up for glassing someone, this will hardly help his cause. -
Just a though but in two more years couldn't he play for England

Is Mike Ashley steering Newcastle United in the right direction?
ToonTastic replied to LooneyToonArmy's topic in Football
I'll leave that up the finance people to answer -
The mouthful was all in the bust up which at the time it came out people were saying it happened before the press. I have no idea where your from but you more often than not know when a press story is totally made up and when there is something in it. There was something in that story and again it wasn't for the first time. A few months earlier he did it to Alan Shearer if you remember after he got himself sent off and then let his mouth go.

I think I'll have to stop posting in this thread, it winds me up lol

Christ on a bike you'd defend hitler lol there was a bust up involving two players and management after he found out he wasn't playing, it's not the first time he's done it and I have no doubts it won't be the last. Noubt to do with the topic at hand which is Barton has failed to live up to any standard at Newcastle so will not lead to us playing better football and he will hopefully pack his bags in the summer never to return. I even found a quote from Chris on Sky "Joey was part of the squad that travelled with us. As always decisions had to be made, and the decision was to go with two big lads up front. Joey took it the same as everybody else would - he was disappointed, but that’s the decision that was made" why would it be brought up if the question of the bust up was not put to Chris.

I would agree about the stamina up until this season which when he ran he looked like Nolan, he was slow and awful and puffing before the end, this before his injury and after a pre season where he gave another mouthful to Houghton cause he didn't start him the first game of the season. Source? http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/sport/443769/Joey-Bartons-new-bust-up-Toon-bad-boy-in-training-ground-row.html Are you serious? I'm sorry I must apologise that some sites are no longer available 8 months after an incident happened. I'm kind though I did a bit more searching http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sport/4536616.Barton_dropped_to_bench_amid_rumours_of_a_bust_up/ http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/paulfletcher/2009/08/glimmer_of_hope_as_newcastle_s.html
