That's a load of bollocks tbf. We have a front 6 of genuine quality and you're gonna blame them for 2 kids not proving their worth yet? 2 inexperienced youngsters shouldn't be playing in this league right now and the management has to take that part of the blame for not loaning them out. But the reason they haven't shown anything is because they're a long way behind the ability of those playing around them, not the other way about. We do???
  2. What would he doing there then ? Maybe he is one of the many, many supporters that attend Monaco home games? Err yes, but in Nepharites post he said this "Might just be taking in the game but I doubt it.". Hence me asking "What would he doing there then ?" Hard work this like. Signing for Monaco? Can't see that, mind you Pardew told his agent to get moving. Although i'm unsure how that works when we have to accept a bid. Agents now arrange and sell the players for us, aint modern football grand. Monaco are the only team I can see him signing for in this window tbh.
  3. It's an excellent point. Nothing stopping us improving our team 10 fold after the transfer window slams shut. Just means Pardew fucking off.
  4. So last season we were shit because of lack of fitness?
  5. When that happens you either sign players to improve, or if you believe your players are good enough to attain your objectives, sack the manager. NUFC have done neither. I try not to meddle in your predicaments (I might get hurt) but this window is a shambles if it ends like this after coming in 16th last season. Keeping our world class players like Cabaye, Ben Arfa, Tiote and Taylor means it's an absolute success. A little club like us really can't compete in terms of actually buying players. Joe's working hard behind the scenes to ensure that our world class players don't get their head's turned too much.
  6. Saw it too many times throughout every one of his games at nufc, holding onto the ball and losing it. He is lucky his name is not tiote. Otherwise everyone will be begging for him to be ousted from the line up. Funny enough even Pardew pointed that out yesterday saying he was pulling his grey hairs out due to hba not passing at the right time, and making the team disjointed. Really frustrating player, blessed with brilliance but lacking maturity football wise. Hopefully that will come with time. He has the ability to become so much more if he can sort out the fundamentals of the game. What a load of bollocks, sorry. If Tiote took players on all game long and scored the occasional wonder goal people wouldn't give a s*** that he gives the ball away occasionally. If we had more movement and better people to pass to other than Shola then he would. Just look at the second half yesterday for example. Nonsense. Until Tiote assists two goals and scores one the same week, you should probably stay clear of comparing the two. Not comparing their abilities, they are two different type of players but I do compare the criticism that each player gets. When hba loses the ball, it's ok because theres no movement. When tiote does it, he's thick. Amazingly you're finding a way of making each of your posts worst than the last. Well done
  7. I don't think he'd want to come back to be honest. Wasn't exactly happy the first time was he. His agents have been knocking the idea of him moving here on the head. Might be because they are more interested in a transfer cut but he's said he's happy to stay at Chelsea himself. I doubt we've got any serious alternatives left now the Gomis deal looks dead so I can't see us signing a striker. We're signing nobody, even when Cabs goes.
  8. The only reason i realised he was playing was because Gary Birtles kept saying how much we could do with someone like him..... This was doing my f***ing body in, literally. Haven't hated a player as much as Parker during 06/07. I quite liked Parker, but even if you didn't, surely the likes of Smith, Owen, Butt, Duff are miles ahead of Parker in the hateometer? Parker was a very good player for us. Yep, very under-rated by our fans. The same fans who rated Emre.

  10. Moses to Liverpool on loan :-(
  11. Just admit that you're french is kinda bad and we'll all forgive you. As good as your English? ;-)
  12. It will 'just beat Morecambe man' then. There will be no positives from tonight on here. If a win is gained in a professional manner, it will be the standard of opposition being questioned and Pardew's tactics/team selection having no bearing as we should have done this regardless, if we get beat it's a simple metldown and a few more Pardew out people come to the fore. Similar sort of reaction if we scrape through in et or pens. It's all irrelevant Brett. Pardew's s***. Yep just a no win situation tonight for any of us really. We beat morecambe, the neutral will say it's only Morecambe, we lose, and the whole country is laughing. A win is a win. Pardew will be judged on the Fulham game, don't worry.

Similar sort of reaction if we scrape through in et or pens. We should be able to win this 3 or 4 nil. It won't happen though. I'll give him credit if he puts the right team out and they do a professional job, winning the game comfortably.

    Alan Pardew

It feels like we're sitting back, refusing to be taken to the cleaners and waiting until the selling clubs have no other choice but to deal with us (like with HBA). And waiting for the last few days where players become available and other deals break down. Hopefully we'll see some action next week/on deadline day. From January 2011!
  15. Hmm. Why? Looks a bit championship to me...
  16. We'll be ready for West Ham. That's good to know. Wonder if we'll ever just go out and play to our own strengths?
  17. I predict that this forum is going to get the position absolutely spot on by the end of the season. Let people in the ground do it, get a completely different (wrong) position.
  18. It seems to come down to wages mainly. You can't increase your wage budget over a certain amount per season, I think it's roughly £4m according to Gold for West Ham. This doesn't affect you if you're a club with a tiny budget, then you can go up to something like a £50m ceiling any time you like (for when you get promoted etc). This means a club can spend any money they like on transfers as long as the wage bill isn't increased significantly. Therefore Real can spaff as much money on buying Bale as is necessary, they just need to make sure they clear space in their wage budget for him. It should work because it effectively limits a club from bringing in a ton of players without losing a few in the proccess. The downside seems to be that it is based on where you stand currently. For instance, we couldn't go out and and match City's wage bill, we're stuck where we are now relative to them. /Disclaimer - That's my undertanding of it at least. Could be bollocks. Spreading transfer fees across a number of years too, hence why Real will be paying about £8m a season for Bale rather than it all up front or something.
