  1. Hull have the massive problem that their best player won't be with them next season. However, they'd have a massive fan base, and plenty of investment. If they really wanted to succeed in the Premiership, I think they'd give it a much better go than Derby did this season.
  2. Sam's record at Bolton in the last 6 months before he left was something like 2 wins in 20 games. He left just at the right time. Sounds like he went 20 games late. That's a fair point too.
  3. Who said Ramage is better than Taylor like? Oh, so you wouldn't prefer to play the better player. That makes MUCH more sense than how I originally interpreted it. A lot of people preferred that Bowyer, Dyer, Woodgate and Barton (to name a few) never played for the club again irrespective of ability. Maybe you should be clear about why you think Ramage should be in the team instead of Taylor then. I'm all ears.... Because I hate Taylor, and Ramage should be next in line ahead of Diatta or Edgar. Making this hard aren't you Why do you hate Taylor?

  5. On current form, Hull should win that league. I've seen all of them play first hand this season, and West Brom are by far the best team in that top 6. Watford are very good at what they do (kick the ball long, kick any player in sight) so I'd love for them to miss out.

  8. Been listening to the 606 football podcasts this morning - Steve Claridge making a tit of himself when talking about the England game, claiming Michael Owen has never played anything than on the last man, and couldn't do a role linking the play a bit deeper in midfield. Someone made the point that he played that role against Fulham, to which Claridge replied "Owen has never played there, and never will". Ex-footballers do not make good pundits.
  9. Ramage better than Taylor? I'm no fan of Taylor but that's got to be one of the most stupid things said on the board this season
  10. In fact Boltons current plight just highlights what a good manager Big Sam was for them. Agree 100%. Sam was Bolton, but not the man for nufc. If you ignore his last 12 months at Bolton, yes. He had already started the rot at that club.
  11. What's the point in this thread then? Do you not think that people have written Carrick off as a potential signing because there's no fucking way Man United would sell him to us?
  12. I get the feeling your threads never quite turn out like they do in your head
  13. Gutted for Barnsley. Wanted a West Brom v Barnsley final, so don't really care who wins now.
  14. I've not seen that tbh. Can't believe Cardiff are going to be in the final of an English cup competition. They should fuck off back to Wales imo.
  15. We have a bigger stadium? Pretty sure Villa and Everton sell out every week.
  16. How exactly are Manchester United and Arsenal so high in the fair play league? Is it all made up?
  17. He doesn't turn up to matches anymore though.
  18. Mate, the last thing I want to do is get into a slanging match, but have you watched much football this year? Everton are currently in fifth and looking closer than anyone to breaking the big four dominance. Spurs might want to concentrate on cracking the top half of the table before they look at the big four, and until last Sunday, a lot of people here were worried about relegation. Very difficult to gauge a "big club" argument, but it certainly doesn't go on one league table. I'm not saying Newcastle are by the way, but judging the club on this season alone is daft. New owner, plenty of money, Keegan back - I bet there are a few fans out there who would be happy with our future. I think Villa and Newcastle are very similar at the moment - we're just a year behind you in terms of manager, but we'll overtake you soon enough
  19. I reckon 1878 might just hate them a bit more than you do I thought Everton and Liverpool liked each other
  20. Liverpool by far out-sang the Arsenal fans. That's coming from the biggest Liverpool hater on here.
  21. I saw Bentley out tonight... http://www.seatwave.com/FileStore/SEASON/IMAGE/000543.jpg
