Mooy looked decent when we played Huddersfield earlier this season.

The one next to Scott Sellars, I think, is Tony the Fridge.

I accidentally smacked a copper in the face when Owen scored his hat-track. Absolute pandemonium, I had the list ticket before the divide and a copper right next to me and in celebrating my right fist went backwards and smashed him right on the nose and his hat went flying and was quickly being tossed about by joyous toon fans.

Bollocks.

If you think that was a fluke today you're a fucking idiot.

Aye. If he was in the PL a break would mean not playing for at least 14 days - not 7. What are you on about? If he was in the PL he would still be in the England U21 squad so his break would be exactly the same. Our next game is the 15th, next PL games are on the 15th.

Noticeable lack of dickheads, talcum powder sniffers and arseholes today. Most likely due to small allocation and requirement for 50+ points for a ticket.

Of the idiot referee.

Your simplistic analysis fails to take account of some of the most important parts of football. Yedlin's allround contribution to the team was good, Villa were scared shitless of him and it allowed our central midfield a lot more time and space on the ball in the first half. For all he gave the ball away cheaply a few too many times he didn't put us in serious danger and they didn't really create anything down that side until he went off. His overall contribution to the team was a lot more than the bollocks stats posted above. We went to pieces when we went off - Hayden is no right back and we then also lacked composure in the middle. Few sloppy moment but overall a very positive first league start, hopefully he isn't out for too long. Looking forward to seeing more from him and him improving his awareness on the ball in defensive situation. Your comment above about finally making a tackle sums you up. Good defenders shouldn't need to tackle.

Rafa has described it as a project a number of times in the press.

I suspect it's the same at most clubs.

No. I was in the wrong thread (been drinking wine since lunchtime) - our away support is a coked up mess - see http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,98264.0.html

Lets not forget this dickhead last season: http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverpool-news/football-fan-sold-drugs-anfield-11605604

I've been to every game this season apart from Bristol City away and I agree. Our away support is a mess. As I said in the Villa match thread.
-
He gave the ball away cheaply under no real pressure a few times which he will need to cut out but overall he had a very good game.
-
Our away support has a serious class A drug problem.
-
It did - but was equally due to moving Hayden out of midfield and brining on a headless chicken. Lost all our composure and fell apart.
-
Totally went to pieces when Yedlin went off and had to move Hayden to full back and bring Tiote on.

Just set off ! Howay United.

Fulham wasn't that good. Derby was.
