Tiote is the past and should never play for Newcastle United again. The sooner he is off the books the better.

It's a really strange comparison No surprise after Tron said the other day that 'Bellamy relied more on the sheer power from his left foot' He did, how many times did you see him pass it into the net or dink one over the keeper? He had a great left foot and usually put his head down and belted it towards the goal in one on ones. Fucking hell.

Shelvey shouldn't play imo - give him a rest.

Wasn't right in the corner. I was sat right behind it. Looks pretty close to me like http://i.imgur.com/I2mWezi.jpg That shows it wasn't right in the corner when it went beyond Sells and over the line, if it was it , from the angle of the shot, it would have gone into the netting on the side not the back. He side foots it so it could have curled from outside the post to back into the post. It could have. But it didn't. I'll blame other people for the goal rather than blame a goalkeeper to try and stop a free shot on the edge of the area that's right in the corner of the net and not on his near post If you think that was right in the corner then there is something wrong you. It was towards the corner but it certainly wasn't right in the corner. Plenty of other people to blame as well but I was right behind it and in line with it from where my ST seat is, Sells position was awful and made it easy for the Wolves player to stroke it in. Decent 'keeper saves it, simple as that.

Those commas are horrendous so I've no idea what you're saying but he side foots it so it could have curled from outside the post to back into the post. You must be blind or partially sighted.

I was talking about the league as a whole, not just my team (who has dropped in their attendances since moving to a new arena, and now hasn't got the highest attendances in the country any more). Can also add that a vast majority of the match going fans that I know support at least one team in one of Europe's big leagues and follow them almost as much as their local team, so there is competition from the TV for all our games over here. What if Gateshead away games were shown live on TV? I would bet anything that it'd drum up interest for them and make more people go to their games. To me, you lot are sounding eerily similar to big movie companies whinging about home streaming meanwhile Star Wars is making over 2 billion dollars in the cinema. People want the best experience, and that is going to games/cinema. That will never, ever change, no matter how comfortable your sofa is. If all 3pm games are available, which is what you're proposing, nobody will be choosing to watch Gateshead games though. It will happen eventually like, the FA/PL only care about making money and pandering to the global market. Won't change my opinion though, what has made the English game brilliant and unique is the fact that there is support for thousands of clubs across the country. Asked earlier if anyone has any stats from around Europe that can back this up. If there are, I'll hold my hands up and say that you've got a point, but until I've seen them, I'll disagree. Nowhere in Europe has a comparable football pyramid. This, our lower league must be treble the size of quite a few european countries. So you can't compare just because there are more fans in the English league? More leagues and more clubs all playing at the same time, not just more fans. I suspect there's nowhere else with non-league football culture quite like ours either.

I've added a poll.

Yeah I think it'll be perfectly clear that Rafa has no use for him and he'll be shipped out eventually. pls Who the f*** would take him? I can´t see any PL team take the chance, heck, might not even Championship teams. Even if there was a championship outfit ready to take him, they would not be able to give him the wage he would need to leave us. Isn't he on peanuts? (or should that be ginger nuts?) We signed him on a free from Sunderland, he'll be on very big wages compared to his ability.

Hehe, despite them trying to keep fans away from reporters now, there was almost a faux par last night about 10.30 ish. Forget which club they were at, but reporter was outside and said there was a wedding party on at the club ground. Then in background you could see a couple of people, then a guy staggers up with his missus, and as the reporter tried to carry on, the bloke said "hello... don't worry, I haven't got a dild....." and was then shoved off camera by the reporter! That was outside the Scotland team hotel.

Townsend: "Naturally we are very disappointed to lose Andros but we are bound by the terms of his contract," said Newcastle United managing director Lee Charnley. "Given our situation in January it was a condition of him joining that we included a buy-out clause. However, I am sure now with Rafa as our manager we will not be in a position whereby we will need to agree to clauses of this nature in the future. "Despite Andros' departure today, we believe with the signings we have made this week we have strengthened the squad. "Rafa and I are working very well together and we are confident we are building a squad that will meet our objectives for the season ahead of us. "Finally, I would like to say Andros was a great professional during his time with us, who gave his all for the Club, and I wish him all the very best." Wijnaldum: "We made it very clear at the beginning of the summer that we had no need to sell for financial reasons, despite relegation, and would only consider selling a player if it was in the best interests of the Club and the team," said Newcastle United managing director Lee Charnley. "After discussions with Rafa it was felt that this particular deal was one such circumstance and would be in the best interests of both parties. "Gini leaves with our very best wishes for his future career." Janmaat: The Club wishes to place on record its thanks to Daryl for his efforts during his time at Newcastle. He leaves with our best wishes for his future at Watford.

The bench and the league cup.

They've owed us one a while after that bid we made for Wayne Rooney to bump up the fee Man United paid.

You don't need to, if the deal is agreed in principal the medical can come later........at which point they can pull the plug. They get until 1am.
