Whilst I would have loved us to fill all the gaps in the squad we had clear constraints and we've obviously chosen to build this as a long term project rather than the Chelsea/Man City approach. Top 4 has probably clouded a lot of our judgements, but in a few years we'll have a squad that can compete.

Villa last season was a no credit performance.

Stop conceding loads of goals would be a start.

We're nearly at our total number of losses for last season and we're only 4 games in.

So I guess the phrase "you can't polish a turd" is true. Or you can't sell a turd. Something like that.

I expect to see a much better effort and performance in this game. What the result will be is anyone's guess as they are a good team who's results can never really be predicted.

I'm still so angry about this. This one hits very different.

Unacceptable collapse. 1-0 up at home against ten men as a CL team to lose two goals like that and offer nothing going forward - completely unacceptable. Especially against these cultish cunts of all teams.
-
Wrong subs today. We lost all our edge when Gordon went off unfortunately.
-
Old man Endo was crap. Hopefully he keeps that up for the rest of the season.

He's a whining ex-Liverpool player turned pundit.

In the words of Mr Fuji "More pain, more suffering!"

Who gives a fuck about that nonce.

"We're in the top 6. we're in the top 6. Jose Enrique, we're in the top 6."

Can't say he isn't on the grind I suppose.

Riviere was a worse footballer, but it's everything that Xisco represented about the club (as I outlined previously) that makes me think of him as the worst signing.
