But if the season ends up cancelled, considering all the noise about letting Bruce have his chance, do people think they'd give him a chance to start next season if he doesn't get the final games of this season to 'impress'? Bruce might as well finish the season. At the stage we’re at I don’t think we would fail to get at least 5 points. Then let the new manager spend the gazillions in the summer and shape the team however he wants.

I’m not saying I wouldn’t take Rafa back or that I don’t appreciate all the good things he did. However the goal posts have massively moved if this takeover goes through.

So who would you choose? If the choice is Allegri or Rafa I’d choose Allegri. If the choice was Rafa or Bruce I’d choose Rafa. If the choice was inanimate carbon rod or Bruce...I’d have to go with the rod.

I love Rafa but I think this is symptomatic of us as Newcastle fans to pine for him (and Keegan). We need to look forward, rather than backwards all the time. We're about to be the richest club in the world and we should be starting a new, fresh future in my opinion.
