He's not perfect at all, but as 3rd choice striker he's fine. You say it'll be good to sell him, but who could we realistically get that would be happy (to an extent) to play 2nd fiddle to other players in his place? Never, ever hear Shola moan when he's not in the team.
-
Shola has come on leaps and bounds in the last year. Still not a quality player as such, but I wouldn't even think about selling him.
-
But sadly, our best central defender. That says more about the club than it does about Moore though.
-
Aye, and Moore is fucking toss!

The difference between the takeovers of West Ham, Villa, Portsmouth and (possibly about to happen) Leicester and the potential Belgravia one is that the first four are being headed by identifiable individuals with an interest either in sport in general, or football in particular. They've said they'd give a £25m budget for January if they took over so I couldn't care if it was a Mackem. If they're going to provide funds for players, I've no concern of who's in the Director's Box every other week. Shepherd always backs his managers with funds though, if you don't care whose in the box then what difference does it make? Because Freddy Shepherd either gives that money to idiots (Souness, Roeder) or just spends it himself and tells the manager he's getting a new player.. I'm pretty confident that a successful company like Belgravia would have a plan of hiring people who actually know about Football to run the Footballing side of the club. Rather then trying to run it themselves like Shepherd does.. I'm sure Shepherd doesn't purposely appoint shit managers. He wants the best for the club as well and in turn wants to make some money, which is fair enough in my eyes. How do you know that the prospective Belgravia chairman won't have equally poor judgement? Grass isn't always greener.

Shame he didn't hit Boumsong.
-
Never seen him play, well I might have but never noticed. Whats he like? Position, record etc?
-
My god he spelt a name wrong, super-fan badge will be promptly removed from Oliver's desk. I'd like to see Martins and Dyer rested, we've all but qualified if we get a result tonight, and the league is far more important at this stage.
-
I know its another Roeder thread, but anyway. Just read that Lawro rubbish on nufc.com, and its something that loads of people have said. 'Glenn Roeder did an outstanding job in our Academy'. Did he really? Wasn't there for a particularly long time and I wouldn't say that many players have come through that you'd say, 'god we developed him well.' Might be wrong like, just seems a common thing for people to say.

Fabregas didn't tear his hamstring.

Scholes has been quality this season. Absolutely amazing player, best out of the crop of 95 by a mile.
-
Knowing our club, we'll spend all £25m on Ronaldo or something.
-
Since when does he have a proposed move to Newcastle to think twice over?.. Why would he even think twice?! I wouldn't even think once, stay away for the good of your career.
-
Yeh pretty much agree with you there mate, nice guy, rubbish manager. Had a good spell at the end of the season, and in many respects deserved the job. What gets me there though, if Wenger left Arsenal in February and Pat Rice took over til the end of the season and went on a really good run, would the board appoint him as manager? Very unlikely, they'd go and get a top drawer, proven manager from elsewhere. His transfer policy borders on comical, and league results have been horrendous. Correct me if i'm wrong, but can Roeder add to his sterling CV the £5m purchase of Tomas Repka?!
-
Dyer isn't a particularly good footballer as such, but his pace and direct style of play will always cause problems for the opponents.
-
Aye my mate whos a Man Utd fan bought a fake home shirt over in Thailand, instead of being red, its fluoresecent pink!
-
Taylor---Ramage----Bramble---Duff Maybe swap Taylor and Rammy.
-
Hasn't Moore said he's going back to Australia? I'd keep Solano as a squad player, the rest can go.
-
Quality stuff, Martins and Dyer were both excellent. I've been critical of Martins so far but he looked so dangerous today, my Arsenal mate shit himself everytime he got the ball.
-
Very under-rated, but very over-rated at the same time. Good player though, i'd take him.
-
Aye used to go all the time in Durham when KK was here, was absolutely class. Got autographs and photos will all the team and staff, only for the fucking car to be broken into and it all nicked!
-
Probably Mourinho like.

I don't really care if he leaves to be honest. I think he's a brilliant player, but to be sad to lose something would imply that you had it in the first place. To me, Michael Owen doesn't feel like a Newcastle player, not his fault but the reality.
