I think Joe Kinnear is doing a good job baffling the players already. As things stand at the moment I wouldn't say no to him. Had he been a young progressive thinking manager, I'd be willing to take a chance on him. As it is, he's 53 and had been a relative unknown in world football prior to managing Chelsea. Also, if he hadn't been friends with Abramovic he would have most likely never ever managed in a major European country let alone England.

That's ridiculous imo. People quickly forget that Grant had NO footballing pedigree prior to coming in at Chelsea. Has everyone suddenly forgotten the stories about how it was the players who ran the Chelsea team last season rather than Grant? Has everyone forgotten how he comes across talking to the media? The man had absolutely no character whatsoever, and was just a sitting duck until Abramovic got his man. a - untrue b - he did more in 1 season than most managers ever will. any proof of the players bit? no. He's managed a handful of clubs in Israel and done reasonably well with them. He's managed the Israeli national team with no significant results or achievements to speak of. He was DOF at Portsmouth for a little time. He was DOF at Chelsea before taking over a star-studded squad, from Chelsea's best ever manager, working for the then richest owner in world football. Managed for one year before he was out on his arse. Is that "pedigree" really worth unsettling our squad yet again for? A resounding no is the only sane answer.

Yeah. and if we had beaten Wigan, no one on here would be saying they'd take a no mark like Grant over another no mark like Kinnear. I would have taken Grant before Kinnear came in when we had no one. I would not take him now as he's barely qualified to manage at the top level.

Hell no? I've heard worse options, most people were saying they would take Steve Bruce ffs. Grant knows his football. Explain please, how Grant knows his football? Who has he previously managed before his "jobs for the boys" stint at Chelsea?
-
So you're happy with Kinnear getting another extension after the Chelsea game then? What Kinnear has on Grant is that he already knows the players. I'm all for replacing Kinnear at some stage (asap preferably), but not with someone like Grant!!

No fucking way!! This man got the job at Chelsea on the back of his friendship with Pini Zhahavi and Abramovich. He had no fucking pedigree whatsoever before that. I'm sorry like, but one season managing a team of superstars in the premier league is nowhere near enough. Shit manager, zero personality. No fucking way.

A few goals and a few decent passes is not good enough when you spend the other 80 minutes of the game falling over, misplacing headers and passes, running into nowhere and trying to over-skill the ball. He's a very bad centre forward and every time he gets the ball, it's like everything runs in slow motion. So? Martins had a s*** game, but he still scored what was nearly the winner. It takes a moment of brilliance to win a game and a score a goal. And I firmly believe that only Martins, Owen and Jonas are the three players in our team atm that can get something from nothing. I'd have Jonas and Owen on the pitch over Duff and Shola any day of the week. I agree with everything said about the Ameobi of the last few years. However there is more of a fluidity in his movement and his game of late, and it is an improvement that must be marked. We don't have another choice until Viduka is back, and Owen up front alone with Martins will not work in our current predicament
-
I disagree. Ameobi has earned his place with a string of decent performances to go with a few goals. His major positive and effective improvement has been to make the ball stick up front. I also think Jonas did not have a very good game at all, and the trident spearhead was the right thing to go with when you need two goals to win a game.

Chris Morgan is an utter twat, and always has been
-
He is, but he can be a joy to watch at times the power and bend he gets with the outside of his foot is truly unbelievable. Chelsea 2-0 Anelka, finally justifying the money? never ever a doubt about his quality. worth every penny, and i'd say Chelsea got him on the cheap

"you took cocks up your arse in jail" "just be careful what you say, sunny Jim - people might be able to lip read" somehow can't see that being Barton's response. "Yeah, well you take them in your spare time! Outside of jail! In a consensual fashion!" Would have been a killer reply. I personally would have gone for "so's your mum", but that's just as cutting.

So if the scores stay the same do Anorthosara win the head to head if them and Inter are level on points? not sure. do away goals count? or goals for?

Fantastic spirit and determination by the boys out there tonight. No one to be singled out as they all played very well. Villa didn't get so much of a sniff. Great effort by all. -
So why did you say him staying was fine by you then? Its called the benefit of the doubt. Innocent until proven guilty. Ive looked at whats happened and everything doesnt add up as nicely as you and a lot of people would have me beleive so I'm choosing to keep my mind open. Are you satisfied with the ambition shown in the last 3 transfer windows? Are you satisfied that no football targets have been defined by him at any time? The answers to those two questions means I don't consider him "innocent". Transfer window 1: Allardyce in limbo as takeover happens Transfer window 2: Keegan joins just a few days before it shuts Transfer window 3: Happy with it overall, pissed off we didn't replace Milner, or use the money from his sale Not enough there to go on to display lack of ambition. Had Woodgate and Modric joined us, you wouldn't be talking about fucking ambition

In a nutshell. Most people simply just love putting the boot in on anything. What's the difference between people having a go at NUFC for the way it's being ran, and people having a go at the NUSC for the way it's being ran? The idea that people have written the NUSC off is equally nonsensical. People just aren't agreeing with some of their views and policies, which they're completely entitled to do. Just because they represent one group of fans doesn't mean everyone has to give them their support. I for one will back them when and if I find myself agreeing more with their aims and how they go about things, But people have written them off, with a number saying they will never join such an outfit. Can't disagree with any of your other points mind, spot on. and with very good reason
-
Wow a penalty given at OT to the opposition!!
-
saddens me to say it, but he's spot on He's talking complete s***. the sentiments aren't complete shit. the way things are going, we're going down. if ashley can't sell, he needs to do his best to make damn sure we don't.
