Aye he will be very diplomatic as always Our situation will not be helped by Shearer being his usual diplomatic self, he has a chance tomorrow to stick it to Ashley on live TV by telling it as it is. I think Shearer has the balls to take that opportunity and I think he will.
-
Looking forward to what Shearer has to say. I wonder if he'll stick the knife into Ashley on live TV, as I think he should, and end his chances of managing with Ashley as owner.
-
A publicity-hungry MP sticking his oar in is not going to help. He doesn't have a clue what's going on. Any anti Ashley publicity that may get national coverage is welcome, can't you see that?
-
I can't fucking help myself, I'm getting seriously drawn into this one. I need to know that Ashley will be out of my life in the very near future.
-
Ashley's "business model"!? Any credibility you had ended there.
-
Ashley has a PR man!!! Yeah, he's Brill. In name only. He better keep his nose firmly wedged in Fat Mike's arse because he'll never get another job in PR if he gets fired.
-
I know nothing about the bloke, but that sounds too good to be true. Former CEO of Premier Direct! I like that name, let's hope he buys us!
-
I don't despise Joe Kinnear and neither does anyone else I know.

Hmmm, not sure of your logic here. May as well cut our own balls off with a rusty spoon. Going off what you say we may end up fighting another relegation battle and going into the third div. And when I say fight relegation I ment cave in and surrender. My logic is based purely on the best way of getting rid of Ashley in the shortest possible timescale. If enough fans carry on as normal, supporting the team and buying merchandise, then that will only serve to prolong Ashley's reign. As I've said previously, it goes against the grain, but I think that boycotting the club until Ashley sells up is, perversely, the best way of supporting club at this time.
-
As fans of the club we shouldn't even be thinking of a new manager. I want Hughton in charge so that we will do as shite as possible so that the pressure to sell builds on Ashley. If we bring in a manager who manages to stabilises the situation that would only give Ashley breathing space so that the fat cunt can hang around even longer.

It will be availible to download off the 5live website about 9.30pm Can you not listen live on the net? Yes here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00m30b1 This is the biggest story in football, and the more it gets the national coverage it deserves the more the pressure will build on Ashley and Llambiarse to fuck off.

What you're failing to appreciate is that there's a massive difference between journeyman pros who want to work for each other to get the best results they can for themselves and their clubs, compared to a bunch of overpaid, overrated individuals who don't want to work for their wage and have no allegiance to, or respect for, NUFC and it's supporters. On paper we might have one of the best squads in the division, but in reality we are going to struggle big time with the current bunch of wasters, and with Chris Hughton in charge.
-
It goes against the grain, but I think there's something in totally boycotting everything NUFC at the moment. It may damage the club short term, but it just might be the quickest way to get rid of Ashley. A total boycott would bring the situation to a head quickly, and we could then lance the boil that is Fat Mike Ashley. Any volunteers for that job?

I'm afraid you're wrong, Ashley does not have "the power to absolutely destroy the club" but he does have the power to drag us down a few divisions and that looks to be his gameplan. The club will survive Ashley and, trying just to see the merest hint of silver in the blackest of clouds, a total clearout and starting again with a blank canvass might not be all bad. Of course he has the ability to destroy the club. He doesn't need to put the club into administration. He can pay the overheads, sell off the good players and recoup as much of the money he put into the club to buy the debts, but spend bugger all on new players etc. He can basically run us into the ground if he wants to. He did not become a billionaire by chance you know. The club will still be here though, even after administration. No one can destroy an institution the size of NUFC. As Jimmy says he can however do a hell of a lot of damage to the club, which I truely believe he's blindly doing right now, in very much the same way as he allowed us to sleepwalk into relegation. I don't think he's factored everything in, I'm certain he's still under the impression that he'll get his 100 mill for the club and is prepared to wait until the last day of the the transfer window to get it. Only then, when no one has stepped up, will he realise the folly of his ways. I don't think he would put us into administration though. I think he will run the club down The point is, Ashley can do what the fuck he likes! NUFC will be here long after Ashley is dead and buried, and hopefully, in his obese state, he'll be dead sooner rather than later. Keep eating the pies Mike! And by the way, you can't take it with you, you fat cunt!

Why are you getting so upset about the Profitable Group pulling out? IMO it's good news as they were nothing more than a bunch of publicity seeking shysters who would not have been any good for the club. We just have to resign ourselves to more misery whilst Ashley continues to destroy the club and burn his own cash. He will eventually get bored or skint or both and fuck off and leave us to pick up the pieces. We will survive this so keep the faith.

Why do people keep mentioning the £100 million debt? If Ashley hasn't written it off then he's never going to sell the club, and we're stuck with him for the foreseeable future. He's such a thick cunt that he may not realise even now that every day he delays the sale weakens his position and strengthens that of the potential purchasers. When the shite results start rolling in, and the players and fans revolt, the value of the club will plummet and NOW is the time for him to cut his losses and fuck off! People keep mentioning the £100 million debt because as far as I'm aware there isn't a shred of evidence that he has written it off or that he is going to write it off. As I said, if Ashley hasn't written the debt off then there's no way he's going to sell the club for, in effect, £150 - £200 million. We're in the Championship, with no manager and a bunch of money grabbing mercenaries who don't want to play for us for fucks sake! The club's fast approaching meltdown and Ashley seems content to watch his money burn. What he's doing to the club defies all logic, and you can only conclude that he is hellbent on doing as much damage to the club as possible and fuck the cost.

20/1 Owen to be top Premier goalscorer. Lump on!!!
-
That post is based on the premiss that Llambiarse was actually telling the truth when he said that the asking price had been met. Personally I wouldn't believe a word that gobshite spouts, and I'm convinced that no one in their right mind would give Ashley £100 million for the club, why should they? The price is going to plummet when the season starts and we can't buy a point, the fans and players revolt, and the media tear at the carcass of a once great club.
-
Do you really believe that the asking price has been met?
-
If there's been an offer matching the £100 million asking price, and that's a big if, then Ashley would be off his fucking head not to accept at this stage. We start playing for points in less than 4 weeks time, and when we get off to the shite start we are all expecting if this is not resolved by then, the value of the club can only head one way and that's down. What will the club be worth when we are bottom of the league at the end of August?
-
As soon as Shearer is installed as manager we'll be rid of this prick!
