me too fucking diabolical thread btw but completely acceptable apparently. strange. your objections are noted. Not that I consider it to be any different to the abuse hurled at the ex directors of the club in other threads, the ones who actually delivered support to the manager and regular european competition. Still, I suppose that was strangely acceptable to you. Perhaps worth noting, again for some who slate me yet again for having a realistic outlook, is that the only point I want right now is 1 for us and 0 for Hull on Sunday. i didnt mention the board once and still get trolled about it. its like those warning PM's didnt happen. what was the point in them anyway? eer.....how many posts were started that slated Shepherd ? Thousands. Were they not about the board too ? Or was it that you [foolishly] agreed with them ? i dont even know what that means or how it relates to what i just posted. I'm not surprised you don't know what it means. You will still say the Halls and Shepherd were shite if it takes 20 years to qualify for europe again. Why have you hijacked this thread when you have nothing to add to it ? Hijacked this thread. nothing to stop you admitting that the Halls and Shepherd were better than you said either jimmymag. Don't expect you to though. That post was to Libertine by the way Every community, even small villages, have their own idiot and your ours. Keep up the good work. aye sure jimmy lad. Shame you didn't bother replying to either this, or other occasions when facts and results completely stump your "opinion" that a board that qualifies for europe regularly and backs their managers is shit. One day, the penny will drop with people like you. Maybe in 20 years time when we haven't played in europe again. I really think you're hoping that the bit in bold will come true so that you can score a few more points. Absolutely pathetic!

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premier_league/article6307172.ece Another well written piece by George Caulkin. And isn't that part of the problem, that good, honest pros like Aaron Hughes, James Milner, Jermaine Jenas, and the list goes on, aren't considered good enough for us by supporters and managers alike? Any one of them would certainly improve the team and squad we have now. Perhaps we as fans have too high expectations and are so impatient that we make it almost impossible for young talent to gain the experience that they need to be able to develop into the players we all want them to be. As someone said earlier, perhaps we are getting what we deserve.

No it's not! If the person was a friend or associate of Ashley's it would mean a great deal. A picture of shirt and wearer would be useful.

I put the question to an avid West Brom fan recently, would he prefer a good season in the Championship or a relegation season in the Premiership and his answer was the Premiership every time. I was quite surprised by that, but thinking about it, the Premiership is the only place to be regardless of how your team plays. It'll be disastrous in more ways than one if we do go down.
-
Like the old saying goes - let down once, understandable. Let down twice, worrying Let down DOZENS of times, thinking the worst is EXPECTED. And we've been let down for MOST of the games this season. Would you bet much on us staying up ? Odds are heavily in favour of going DOWN - bookmakers don't throw money away. We have a set of players who have let us down time after time, and are now just laying down and accepting the inevitable, (because a LOT of them will be elsewhere next season) - even more than we who have now given up. But it's not inevitable! And a lot of "supporters" are already talking like it's already happened.
-
this is newcastle we're talking about, and when have this set of players actually went to win a match which we weren't expecting We probably won't need to win.
-
Far too many "supporters" are certain we are down for my liking.

Its the usual type of Newcastle fan - they repeat what the southern/Manchester rags say and can't see the bleeding obvious - that it's written by fans of other teams who absolutely hate us, and will always take the negative against us. Still been revolted by the number who think a goalkeeper should have a 10 feet clear circle around him - as long as he's the OPPOSITION keeper. Very amusing. Actually, I'm not in that camp so that blows your theory straight out the water. I do reckon it's pathetic the type of protection the goalkeeper gets from referees, as I mentioned earlier in this thread. But the fact remains that those are still the rules and the goalkeeper still gets that protection, therefore making Webb's decision a right one in how those situations are always approached. Right or not, if you stand in the goalkeeper's way even in the pathetic little way that Nolan did, the refere is going to blow the whistle. It was a poor decision from him to try and get away from it, and he realised what he'd done when the goal was disallowed. That's total rubbish! MOTD highlighted a far worse block on the goalkeeper committed by Nolan when playing for Bolton that didn't result in the subsequent goal being disallowed. The problem here is the consistency, and the fact that Webb was influenced by the incident last Monday night when he was 4th official. He obviously had Nolan under the microscope and was just waiting for the merest of touches that would give him his chance to punish us. 99.9% of referees would not have disallowed that goal.
-
Day after even. The only criticism of Keegan is that he believed Ashley, Llambias and Wise. They were still feeding him shite right up until the window closed, he then realised his position was untenable.
-
He has his little share of the blame that is his to keep. Regardless of the consequences, he is a cunt for doing what he did. You're talking bollocks man!
-
I've told you Wullie, he's a bit of a fat cunt and you'll damage your pushbike.
-
....has been Mike Ashley! End fucking of!
-
Total cunts blaming Keegan for this mess.
-
It's patently obvious that Webb was influenced by Nolan's block against the Smogs and Taylor's subsequent goal on Monday. He was just looking for a chance to punish us. I appreciate that referees are human just like us, and they have human faults and failings just like us, but that won't stop me believing that Howard Webb is the biggest CUNT on the planet!
-
I don't think NUFC could have taken any other action yesterday because any other action would have diverted the attention of everyone at the club away from the much more important business of beating Fulham today. I sincerely hope and believe that Barton has played his last game for us, but now is not the time to be focusing on Barton, that can wait until the close season.

Viduka has skill and heading ability Martins has pace and heading ability Martins is obviously carrying an injury and can't possibly start. Owen and Viduka are still our best options to start tomorrow imo, with the pace and running of Martins and Lovenkrands a threat from off the bench. And I think Owen will score tomorrow. I was right, heard he got a couple in training this morning. :-[

Why the fuck are some people hoping for a Hull win tomorrow??? Don't you realize that will prolong our agony until the last game of the season and we could still go down?
-
cunt cult

I think he'll prove to be one of our most important players over the next couple of seasons.

Ineffective.
