Someone made a post in here saying someone close to him says he's terrified of getting sold in the summer - I believe it. Even during last year, he constantly talked about Howe assuring him of his role at the club, how important he is to the team etc. Must have zero self belief in himself. Sad really.

I think people are being incredibly harsh considering Longstaff leaves massive gaps leaving him (who isn't the quickest) and also Bruno (who also isn't the quickest) with massive gaps to fill. I suspect next season he'll be immense when the midfield has far better shape.
