  1. Thanks all for your hospitality! See you again next time it goes down.
  2. Keep this shit up and I'm going to ensure you get absolutely no photo storage space when TT re-opens.

    Diego Carlos

Aren't we on to Plan C now?
  4. I'd have it the other way round. NO definitely attracts more viewers but the best times of late were always in the Championship. Until the takeover of course...
  5. Well there's no point in appointing him in February when he can't get any backhanders.

    Sunderland

TBF they've got experience in signing duds from Man U e.g. John O'Shea, Paddy McNair, David Bellion, Kieran Richardson, Wes Brown, Donald Love, Liam Miller.
  7. Well this is like moving back in with the parents at the age of 45 after the wife kicks you out. At least Gemmill has had some preparation for this scenario.
  8. I would add Ameobi to that list. Problem is Ameobi's got more Premiership goals than all our other strikers combined. That could be the root of our problems this season. But less than Alan Smith.
  9. Yes, him keeping the club afloat is a positive, no one would deny that. But you make it sound like he had a choice, he wouldn't have simply walked away due to the money he would've lost, it's not something to praise him on.
  10. Where did I say it was out of spite? What I've said is that Ashley will want to see us do well in order to protect his investment, the problem is that his definition of doing well is scraping 17th place, something I'd be happy with this season but not in the long-term. We've already seen him massively misjudge what it takes to stay in the PL before, I'm worried that he'll do it again.
  11. You don't reckon a man like Mike Ashley would really hate to lose that £200m? To say that he has kept us afloat as an act of generosity is a ridiculous statement.
  12. For as much crap as he gets, he's at least kept us afloat. Because letting us go under would be in his best interests? This has been covered thousands of times. Mike Ashley wouldn't lose his wealth, he'd lose the money invested and St. James' Holdings would go bankrupt, all the rest of his moeny and assests would be fine. Yet, he continues to pay what is needed to balance the books and keep the club running. Of course, there's always the possibility he's doing that so someone buys it at an inflated price, but at anytime he could walk away and the money he'd lose would be the initial purchase price and invested money he's put into the club since taking over - so just a little bit of his wealth. A little bit of his wealth? I haven't got time to do the research so correct me if I'm wrong, his wealth is reported at £700m, he paid £134m for the club and has loaned us another £100m (?) since then. I'd say it's more than you a 'little bit of his wealth'. It's in his interests to see us doing well, I just don't think he's done a very good job of that.

  14. Not really, seeing as Ashley is majority owner of Sports Direct and sole owner of the club. However, I'm sure the remaining shareholders would go mental if Ashley moved money out of the company into the club. The best we can hope for is that the increase in profits mean increased dividends for Ashley and that he'll want to put some of that money into the club, I can't see it happening though.
  15. Jonas isn't fully fit. God knows why Panshitcake was chosen above McLoven. Why the fuck did Hughton put him on the bench if he's not even fit for 20 mins? Pointless. Morale, possibly. Does he do a bit of standup at half time?

  17. Surely if that was the case then he'd have stayed at Notts County?
  18. Doubtful, that's just business. There does seem to be something dodgy about this player and his agent though. Bought by Valencia (against their manager's wishes) after doing fuck all for Monaco and then being immediately loaned to us (against our manager's wishes). Doesn't seem normal to me.
  19. as i've already posted this deal ought to be investigated by the FA/FIFA/UEFA. It must be classed as bribery or even money laundering. How can it be money laundering or bribery as no fee was paid to the agent or the club? (As far as the tribunal are aware)

    Can we?

Because, quite frankly, the "bosses" at NUSC appears to be complete and utter mindless tossers. It's like telling Hitler under WW2 "I don't really mind the jews, you know? How bout we just all be friends?" You think he'd listen to your opinion? I know what you mean and I think there are a lot of people who feel the same as you. As I was saying, it would take more than one dissenting voice to make a difference, if everyone on here who disagreed with what NUST were saying joined and made their voices heard then you'd like to think that it would be taken on board, unless they try then we'll never know.
