Des Lynam's still alive.

No love for James Richardson? I think his MOTD ship has sailed if he ever had one.
-
You can't compare different types of midfieders if you can compare midfielders at all.
-
Grealish starting in the number 10 position is also a change isn’t it?
-
I think you may have misinterpreted that smile tbh.

I imagine they're hoping they can flip most of them for profit in the coming seasons if they don’t work out. We’ve seen how it doesn’t seem to make a difference to a players value if he plays or not, as long as he’s coming from a ‘big’ club.

Given Trippier Albert Woodgate Beresford Gillespie Gascoigne Bruno Ginola Cole Beardo Manager - Keegan That’s not a workable midfield in reality.

Italy: Baggio France: Zidane Spain: Iniesta Holland: Bergkamp

Just finished this, I think "a bit too forced" is underselling it, I found it excruciating at times. I'm not sure the long form interview did Gazza any favours.

Dodged a bullet there, if we were even in for him.

Well they paid £60 million for him they weren't going to let him walk away in a couple of years.
-
Bear in mind that might have been a 12 year old

Why do you think this is?

Listening to something today which suggested that FFP penalties will be fines and not points deductions from next season. Anyone else heard that? If so it will be an absolute joke for the mega rich top clubs and they might as well scrap it.

Nope she definitely knew

I do hate it when people say that the government pays for stuff. It's the tax payers that are paying for it, the government are just signing the cheques. I realise it's just shorthand for what I've said but it still narks me somewhat that some people are actually thinking it's the government's money. Maybe nobody does!

I must've missed that, still a slap on the wrist at most.

Finding it amusing how quickly ten Hag is trying to brush this under the carpet, there's no word about punishments or consequences even, only that's its an internal matter and the case is closed, he has ... accepted responsibility for his actions. Yeah right Erik everything points to these players basically having no respect for you and the club but as you say, the case is closed, he's accepted responsibility so everything is fine.

You'd think Pep/ Man City's due diligence would be better than that, to sign a player for that much and not know about any technical limitations. Didn't read the full article as I don't have a subscription.

Injury to Salah more serious than we thought, oh dear he'll miss the rest of Afcon and be fully fit for Liverpool when it finishes. So predictable. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2024/jan/22/mohamed-salahs-injury-more-serious-that-first-thought-says-players-agent

Never expected it to work!

No I made an anti Man City post a couple of weeks back and was rightly put in my place
