Why? For the first part I mean?? I just don't get this wankfest love in for him at all. Seems a decent bloke, not the first or last decent lad to be managing, seems just as able to come out with bullshit as anyone else, judging by his latest comments and press conferences... So why are so many professing love for him?? Not the least likeable by a million miles but I dinnae get the love fest..

Ahem. That should be the case with us then? Yet we fail fucking miserably at it.

What a strange set of affairs at Swansea. Have them as favorites to replace the mackems in the drop now.... -
Combine the two marra (just like cheese n chips).

Truly has face worthy of being splattered with shit on from the greatest height. Rotten human being.

It's only really been the last 18 months that's applied though isn't it? That's after spending his career at average to decent clubs rather than one of the elite. Aye fair point , but he is just so typical of what I consider a bit of a wasted career..Scott Sinclair, Shaun Wright Phillips et al..... Wilfred Bony to an extent (though owing to fragility of Aguerro he is getting a fair run out). if he had stayed at us for instance the lad would have had a bagful of goals (well maybe not!) and a shitload more appearances.

Daft lad for some of the career choices he has made. So like many of this standard of player, could have had fantastic playing career at a side outside the top 4, with luck helping push them on, being a legend and hero to that clubs supporters etc..but nope they take the money, sit on a bench for the most part and their playing career suffers...I guess their bank balance doesn't though. One of the horrible curses of 'modern footy' imo...not seeing lads playing regular who have so much ability.

Far too sensible. Far too unrealistic Aye there is that as well...
-
Can't see him wanting to play in Championship? Would assume he has a release clause? Offski sooner rather than later imo.

Wow! no messing eh! -
Needs to seriously work on his kicking and concentration. Lad has the attributes, hope he can come back and begin to fulfil his potential, still young at 27 for a keeper.
-
Nailed it.
-
I think there is more chance of someone like Boro splashing out on him. He will want PL football next season I would imagine, and he is exactly what a newly promoted side will need, guaranteed goals.
-
Don't get the hate for Townsend. Smacks of the same crap that was spouted about Routledge...both an improvement on the ineffective soft shit we currently have plying their trade wide.
-
Good enough to lead the line next season with Armstrong?? With two wingers (proper wingers) I think he is worth a go myself. Strong enough to boss some CHs around in the championship imo...
-
They play some decent stuff. have a chairman (owner) who passionately cares about the club and a very talented young manager... cunts.
-
We dont have to worry about Mackems, just the teams above us. If teams above us are doing this well then mackems are also going down.. Wouldn't want the fuckers in the division with us anyway tbh...6 more points we might have a chance of getting if they aren't there.
-
Get rid now and start preparing for next season. We are relegated now anyway... We need a guy who has a proven Championship promotion challenging record. And it ain't this uninspiring bloke.
-
Down. Results today confirm it imo. Norwich, West Brom all pulling clear. Mackems will win enough at home (they always do). Villa, NUFC and Swansea in all probability now We can't score, missed far too many chances and are always liable to let in a soft goal.

Arsenal 1-0 Newcastle United - 2/1/16 - Post match reaction from page 26

usual Arsenal then...utterly predictable in their disappearing act for some games. They will never have a better chance of winning the title than this season and they are gonna blow it as per. -
Probably the most important player for us this season Thinking ahead for next season. Well done to the lad.

Arsenal vs Newcastle United - Saturday 2nd January 2016 - 3pm
George Bailey replied to Stifler's topic in Football
This could be an odd one. They should batter us, but we all know how frail they can be so I can actually see us scoring (probably from a set piece/corner). Not sure they have the natural killer instinct to do a 5,6,7 scoreline either...a 2 or 3-1 defeat for me. Still in the shit mind.
