  3. Yeah. Had a shot saved and bounce off the post just a few minutes later as well. I tuned into the game pretty late, but they've dominated it seems.
  4. Pen South Shields. Seemed pretty obvious decision.
  5. Didn't NUFC pay for Plymouth's pitch to be fixed or relayed after all that?

Apparently it was 98/99, but I can't remember ever seeing it in action either.
  7. He became the embodiment of the anti Pardew movement in the end game, simply by not being involved with the team. But to limit him at that is absurd.

    Oh yeah, the spikes
  9. Team who finishes 3rd has to play a 2 leg playoff against 18th place in Ligue 1.
  10. Bordeaux playing in their new Puma home kit tonight. http://www.footpack.fr/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/nouveau-maillot-football-domicile-girondins-bordeaux-2017-2018-1024x1024.jpg That collar is nice. Hopefully a sign of something to come for NUFC.
  11. Pardew looks like he loves lamp in that photo.
  12. That black ManUtd away works well. Think it's very classy. Apparently an homage to this 90s number: http://m2.miiduu.com/store2/38086/image/data/201401/IMG_04671m.jpg Just a bit less... 90s
  13. Apparently the badge on that Celtic kit is a simple iron on, which brings it down. The design of it is brilliant. New Balance has been putting out great kits for a few years now.

    Lookalikes

No way The same look of disdain also.
  15. Haha, just revelling in his own glory. And good on him.
  16. I just think the Premier will be too quick for him, I don't really see how he can be effective unless the midfield is sitting back so players can't run past him. In a purely defensive formation you might be able to get away with having a midfielder with no pace whatsoever. Oh, it's not worth debating. The Championship has been too quick for him. Yesterday was just his 'broken clock' game.

Ooh, shame it cuts off even it does. Epic moment that.
  18. Yeah, he was good today. And not just good by Colback standards but by normal human standards. Good passing, good challenges, timing and an overall positive attitude. He still regressed to the mean at the very end with some bad placement and throwing himself to the ground, but the result was in the bag by then. In many ways this would be the perfect end, as I still hope he never wears the shirt ever again.
  19. You could tell he was really enjoying it out there today. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  20. The timing was magic today. Just as the celebration for Gayle's goal were dying down everyone had given up hope on the title. People were walking out and then boom, the tidal wave hit St James'. Arms up all over and folks running back into the ground.

    Aleksandar Mitrović

His ball winning attempts in the air are tragic. Spends his time wrestling with the defender, not even looking at the ball and then rarely even jumping. Gouffran and Atsu won more headers. The question becomes more why do we even launch it to Mitro.
  22. This sort of start at Man City looks very familiar.
  23. Tottenham can only reach a maximum of 86 points now. So, yeah.
