  1. Imagine if Arsenal bottle the league AND Spurs go down too? N London samaritans on red alert
  2. Oh look, Chris Kavanagh has lost control of the game because he's refused to book players. What a surprise

    Yoane Wissa

I'm just trying to figure out the logic of the decisions made. I think they looked at who could replace the goals we were going to lose in Isak, went for Wissa, paid way over the odds but were happy with the profit and bought, what they considered, to be an insurance policy in Woltemade to top up the goals and were probably more than happy to break even on the deal. No idea how close I am to the truth there but that's how it's stacking up to me personally - Wissa/Woltemade were their Moneyball/recreating the aggregate signings

    Yoane Wissa

"Aye but we're getting 125 for Isak. Buy Wissa and we've plugged the goal gap and we're 70 mil up. Fuck it, let's sign a German too with that" Only half joking

    Yoane Wissa

Looking more and more like it was a case of "Isak got 23 and wants to go, Wissa got 19 and wants to sign - fuck it, sign him. Job done" without any other further scouting or due diligence. They looked at nothing other than the numbers and rolled the dice and have completely fucked it by the look of things. He's that poor a signing you can't even technically criticise it because he's not even good enough in training to get into a team that's currently a fucking shambles
  6. That looks like it's it imo. Didn't see all of the match today but what I did see was just more of the same dross that's been served up for months now. Same mistakes, same formation, same lack of desire and fight, same lack of marking, sloppy passing, shocking wing play and virtually zero threat going forward. There's usually a match that gets remembered as being 'the one' that tipped the balance in the crowd and I think that one today (on the heels of the derby surrender) has done it for him. I think there's a decent chance that the players have given up on him and have just got sick of hearing the same things from the same voices, game after game, month after month - the whole club feels either stale, dysfunctional or just generally broken and I don't think Howe's got enough left in the tank to fix it. My prediction is that we'll get a fucking good hiding at Arsenal and he'll be sacked or mutually consented a few days later. The club will limp on until the end of the season and we'll finish 15th. Fair play to those who still believe and have a bit of positivity but I can't see a single area that's positive about the club - we look like a club in freefall and some of the people apparently who are running the gaff day-to-day need to walk too. It's been a shitshow of a season and I can't wait for it to be over - genuinely abysmal stuff
  7. If he's being a dick then he shouldn't kick another ball this season, fuck him. Let him go to the WC without a single minute of competitive football under his belt for months. Lad's an utter cunt man, birds of a feather and all that - no surprise he's bezzies with the other cunt
  8. Haven't got the time of day for him, or anyone else, who picks and chooses when he wants to try and when he decides to go through the motions. His output has been patchy at best and his contributions to the team seem to depend on if he fancies it or the size of the game he's in. Comes across as a bit of an arsehole in general (doesn't mean he actually is though) and I've never really warmed to him despite him playing really really well a few years ago. He's got that edge and arrogance to him that I don't particularly like, he's a legend in his own lunchtime - nothing to do with his hair, the city he was born in or the clothes he wears, none of that is important. He doesn't want to be here so he can fuck clean off and be a edgy cunt for a different set of fans
  9. Would hate to see Tarkowski take aim at his kneecaps and kick the cunts clean off this weekend. Would be awful
  10. Quatre zip. Tres dogshit a la scouse cunts
  11. Shearer's an awful commentator imo
  12. Glad it's on Prime - no commentary at all. Hoping for a quick Dembele brace to wrap it up so I can hear their misery in peace
  13. Frodo walks. The horrible little cunt
  14. And now they're 2 up. What the fuck are they playing at?
  15. Leeds continuing to press like fuck despite being ahead?? Idiots

    Roflham Lolspurs

Won only 2 since Halloween. Perfectly plausible that they only get another 5-7 points this season and they're already 2 behind West Ham. 3 wins for West Ham keeps them up

    Nick Woltemade

I think more as a creator but he'll still score quite a few. Not sure the rough and tumble of the PL suits him too much but in the right team in the right league he'll be dynamite for someone, just no idea who will make it happen. Just a hunch

    Nick Woltemade

He's a bit of a footballing unicorn in so far as if the system is in place to benefit him and his skillset then he'll look amazing and make everything tick. But anything other than that and he struggles a bit, he needs the whole environment to be built solely around him for him to produce and I don;t think there's many teams that can do that. On the flip side I do think he's been mismanaged since November/Decemberish. He was playing and scoring as a makeshift 9 then Wissa got fit and that somehow mysteriously made things worse rather than better. He got rested and moved about to cover other positions etc and he's subsequently fallen off a cliff since then. He looks beaten, demoralised and generally sad as a result and it's not all his fault imo. I think he's got masses of ability but under Howe and the 433, unless something drastic changes, then he'll probably need to move on for the sake of his career. He's going to be fucking brilliant for someone very very soon

    Dogawful Officiating

In isolation then it's a pen, without a doubt, he's got a handful of his shirt and you freeze it at the right moment and it's blatant. The issue is the fact that it's only given once, for one team, in one box and costs a team a goal and a point or 2 as a direct result. If they gave it every time then that's fine. If they ignored it every time then that's fine. But to ignore everything for 91 minutes and then suddenly give it once and it have a direct impact on the result of the game is shameful stuff. Likewise the Joelinton foul is probably a yellow but the same ref allows Munoz to commit 6 fouls without a yellow for totting up is just as bad. Referees have been a disgrace this year
  20. Bookies make it essentially a 2 way fight now for the last slot - Spurs are 10/11 and West Ham are 13/8. They've all got Forest and Leeds well clear of it

    Jacob Murphy

His output hasn't diminished it's disappeared. Without the numbers he was putting up last season he's become essentially useless and worthless, his only redeeming qualities last season were his goal contributions and now they're dried up he's looking like a waste of a shirt every game he plays. He was appalling today
  22. He also looked genuinely gutted after the pen was awarded too. He's been let down on and off the field this season but he knew immediately that back to back second half surrenders in near-identical scenarios would crank the pressure up. And to follow that up with his "uncharacteristic of us" bullshit afterwards sticks in the craw a bit too, that won't wash any longer, losing 25 points from winning positions is dreadful. We've conceded 30 League goals alone in the last 15 mins of each half. That compares with 17 conceded in the other hour of play - there's something going on there, it's not bad luck when it happens week in and week out
  23. Genuinely feels like the middle of the end at this point. Teams are always a reflection of the manager and this team looks stale, tired and mistake-ridden. He's done an unbelievable job since he was appointed but I think this repair job is beyond him unfortunately - the volume and manner of the results and performances he's getting out of his squad are pretty pathetic. The whole identity of the squad has changed completely, the system has stopped working and, at this stage, Howe appears unable or unwilling to change things enough. He's had an awful lot of things go against him that are beyond his control but after a 3 week break to rest, recharge, organise and train the team for this match and to serve up the performance they did is utterly shit. It was de ja vu and yet another dismal second half, not helped by passive management and poor reactive subs having watched his team cede control almost deliberately. He's not learning and he's not changing and it's not getting fixed this time imo. I think it's a matter of time now
  24. First bit of quality football, open them up and get an accurate cross in = goal
