At least no one has taken the obvious bait. Phew

Selling Wood probably was a bit unexpected and out of the blue mind. But then again who thought any fucker would slap down £15m for him? You can't turn that down, you might never get the chance of that return ever again and it was right to move him on even if we didn't manage to get a replacement in first. It's the ultimate gift horse and I'm pleased it happened. 100% certain he'll be replaced by a much much better player either this window or next.

Weird idea (bare with me) Will there come a point in the net few weeks/months whereby Liverpool and/or Chelsea accept they're not going to finish in the CL? Will they then be so average that they finish 7th or 8th and avoid ALL European football for 23/24 which will undoubtedly help their respective League campaigns next season? As in, writing this season off early and phoning it in? Fully aware it's a bit tinfoil hat btw

Fair point. Just saying the defender made the worst possible decision
-
In hindsight he should have just taken the red and pulled him down 20 yards earlier, he was never going to get ahead of him.

Trippier Burn, Botman and Schar Trippier Burn, Botman and Schar *tune of Ryan Taylor, over the wall*

A couple more players would all but cement that CL place imo. Looking at the bench you had ASM and Isak and nothing else. We need more options, we need more strength in key positions in the final third. Not being greedy but we might not get this chance for a couple of years. Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs look bang average and we need to move heaven and earth to find the cash to strengthen in the next 10 days to see it home.

Absolutely nothing wrong with the line-up, formation or subs tonight. Went down there and dominated possession, created a handful of chances and the keeper only had 1 save to make all night. The manager couldn't have done anymore but it just didn't go in, the headers we had were a bit weak and Palace hung on and made it difficult, I get the frustration but games like tonight are going to happen and they shouldn't be used as a stick to beat Howe with, that's outrageous tbph

You're joking??

Draw, 3 reds each and some season-ender, reducers please. Hoping the benches kick off too and both get FA fines and points docked. Genuinely dislike both of these, no redeeming qualities between the entire clubs combined.
-
Not a fan of him I must admit. Plays with a chip on both shoulders and seems a bit of a snidey little cunt too. He had a little purple patch last season and he would undoubtedly be better than some of our squad but we can and should be aiming for a much better player than him.

"Done deal. Nothing can stop this now" Yeah? You sure? Fucking wanker
-
Huge home win please. Hoping City get their shit in a pile asap and smash the absolute fuck out of Spurs. 10-0 please
-
Sure that obligation means they need to stay up and he probably needs to score a few in the process. I'm not as confident that he'll actually make the move as others seem to be Sincerely hope he pops a few in and goes permanently, which seems a bit shit but he's an absolute carthorse let's be honest. Nice lad, good in the dressing room, popular, gives his best etc. Painful to watch or rely on though

Loaning him out isn't the mistake. Not replacing him would be the mistake
-
I find it impossible to believe that Howe and the powers above him would sanction a move for Wood out of the squad without already having someone in to replace him - that's just not on the agenda. They're exceptionally sharp people and losing a body (as limited as he may be) without replacing him is simply unimaginable. Wood out = someone much better in very very soon.

At no point this season have I ever thought 'Leeds are going down'. Granted that's not to say they should be higher but it's not bad enough to justify sacking him imo. Obviously Leeds fans know and watch their team a lot more than I do and if they're united in wanting him out then it'll probably happen, I just see the point in getting a new guy in, backing him financially, letting him start to build a squad then binning him before it's had a genuine chance to take hold and grow. It just seems a very skittish and panicky move from a petrified boardroom.

Go back to p600ish for a deeks gents

3 wins from 19 should mean the bullet very very soon for Lampard, the gobshite twat
-
Rashford and Haaland 1 sot each is 2/1 on sky. Seems ludicrously good value
-
Well done Howe for not bowing to crazy fans and changing things early
-
Right, change it Howe. Selection was fine but we're blunt as fuck

That's not a normal regular Ht warm up for ASM, he's on sooner rather than later
