  1. Still need another one I reckon, 1 isn't going to be enough
  2. That's an achilles that. Looked painful as fuck
  3. I don't think Burnley will catch us, the gap is 4 points and they've only won 1 all season. They've got 2 games in hand but I'm not sure who they're going to beat in order to catch us. Watford look awful, have played a game more and are already 3 points behind. They'll not pass us. Norwich are the only one in slightly worried about. They're a point behind, 2 if you factor in their awful gd, have played 2 games more than us and only scored 14 goals in 24 but they look like they're making a bit of a fist of it. I just don't think they'll get 2 more points than us in 2 games fewer. A win tomorrow almost certainly sorts us out and puts clear space between the bottom 3. We're not there yet but I reckon I'm about a 2.5 right now
  4. He should have slid in from 3 yards away, wiping him out at the knees and he'd have got away with it.
  5. Floodgates could open here, awful time to concede a bit of a scabby goal like that. Another 3 would be sweet

The daft thing is that they'd be devastated if the other clubs didn't treat them like a Cup Final. They seem to tell as many people as possible, as often as possible just how fucken massif they are whilst simultaneously crying about teams raising their game against them. They're just a bang average L1 club now and they're getting smaller by the week. Until they wind down their overinflated opinions of themselves they'll continue to chase mangers out on a yearly basis. Remember the huge table of ppg for the whole of 2021? They were 3rd behind only City and Liverpool - not good enough marra. They chased the bloke how achieved that within weeks of it being published. They're toxic as fuck.

Aye, but is he hard though marra? Will he raise the standards? Cos Keano wudder.
  9. Norwich have only scored 14 this season and, if it stays like this, will have earned them 19 points so far. They've shipped loads in the process too. It's not sustainable imo. They've picked up under Smith and he deserves credit but they're winging it atm, defying the odds and winning tight games isn't going to last. They'll revert to the mean soon enough and start leaking goals in due time.
  10. Best thing he could do is to walk away from every single one of them tbh. This isn't an anti-Sunderland thing either, I imagine Henderson to be the polar opposite of this fucking prick, it's not a needless dig because he played for them - he's just a cunt. He blended in seamlessly with the rest of his mates, picking the millionaire English International out from the 8 or 9 of them would have been impossible.
  11. He does. I've had the misfortune of bumping into them on a night out and they're without question the biggest pack of utter cunts I've ever encountered. Mouthy, scummy cunts acting like fucking arseholes with each other and other members of the public unlucky enough to be within 50 yards of them. Dregs of society.

The misplaced confidence they all have in Keane simply snapping his fingers and getting the club promoted is staggering like. They seem to be completely blinkered into thinking that appointing him is the silver bullet and will ensure promotion into the Championship, totally ignoring his managerial cv which is pretty bleak and uninspiring. They basically hate their club and squad and want someone to come in who's "hard" to shout at them and put them in their places. They want to see a bit of retribution, they know they can't do it themselves so Keane will do it for them - that'll learn them etc. Massive disconnect between Keane the player and Keane the manager, totally ignored for the reasons above. They still idolise him despite chasing him out once his one-trick managerial approach got found out a decade ago. They're harking back nearly 15 years since they enjoyed the only (relative) success he's had as a manager and thinking it'll be exactly the same again. They think it'll be the same because they want it to be the same, there's no evidence to suggest it'll happen again. He's a managerial failure. Mainly due to his arsehole personality and inability to relate to players inferior to him. I genuinely hope they appoint the narcissistic, arrogant, antagonistic, contrary mouthy prick first thing tomorrow
  13. We need to match or better Norwich, Watford and Burnley for the rest of the season to stay up essentially. I'm canny confident of that now tbh. If we can't then we'll go down and it'll be thoroughly deserved.
  14. Bookies have 3 clear favourites now, Norwich, Watford and Burnley, prices at 6, 4 and 2 to 1 on. We're hovering at just over 2/1ish. A few more decent results and it all looks rosy but there's a long way to go yet. Just got to match their points tallies from here on and move on to next season.
  15. Huge couple of results obviously change things massively. I'm down to a 2 or a 3 now tbh. In all honesty we should be looking up at the table and try to reel in the 5 sides directly above us in the table, they're not out of sight and I'm also fed up of looking down at the clubs that could pass us, fuck that, let's catch the fuckers a few points ahead. Finishing something like 13th would be incredible considering the start under that horrible fat cunt.
  16. A lot of time has gone by since Palace took him all those years ago and they say time is a great healer. However, it doesn't apply to this piece of fucking shit. I still wish a thousand plagues on him.
  17. By accumulating them, some would say.
  18. Looks like the AFCON final is going to pens, makes sense to start the new one once the matches are finished tonight tbh

Giving it to Keane will give them a boost short term. It's the added motivation and the "fucking hell, it's Roy Keane" effect. It'll undoubtedly boost them and be a kick start but I think that's all he's got. It turned to shit last time he was there, it never even got going at Ipswich and that was about 10 years ago. What else does he have as a manager other than to shout at them? What happens when they stop listening? What else does he have? It'll end in tears, the only question is how soon will it happen.
  20. Defoe last goalscorer was 11/4. He's bound to, isn't he?
  21. Bet he's fucking odd. Yet to meet a person from Consett/Stanley who I'd consider to be normal
  22. That's because his mates on the media are still saying, that's the narrative, that's his reputation amongst the pundits. They'll find out soon enough
  23. I am not unhappy about this news.
