  1. He's going to be the final point for the next month or 2 and needs support on and off the pitch. No point slagging the bloke now, he's here and he's the bloke at the top of the tree, he needs bodies around him so when he flicks it on or holds it up he's got options. He needs to be involved and needs service. The whole team needs to step it up another level, he can be a big asset but not if he's isolated, that's a waste.

Keane would be a timebomb waiting to go off at any point over the next year or so imo. Not saying it would be a bad appointment, it could go very very well for them in the short term tbh. I just think he's massively volatile and it could end at any point as soon as he loses his shit. Maybe they're only interested in the short term? Meh, we'll see.
  3. Fans behind the studio glass going fucking mental at HT
  4. Don't know much about him other than lots of people bet on him to get booked regularly.
  5. Got no real axe to grind with West Brom but I now hope they tank purely down to that obnoxious twat. He's not a nice bloke at all and he'll ruin them beyond repair if he stays longer than a few months. Fuck him, and therefore fuck them. Really hope Baggies fans go looking for opinions of him here and elsewhere. Then it'll dawn on them just what they've done.
  6. Bollocks. As if he only has 12 rashers of bacon per day.
  7. The idea of one of our CM dropping really deep to get possession needs to fucking stop tbh. Shelvey playing 10 yards in front of our CBs, picking up the ball under no pressure needs to be ditched immediately. Yes he can ping a pass 40 yards but they're all marked tightly so it invariably breaks down and we're quickly under pressure again. What we need is a CB to bring the ball out, have options central, left or right, players moving and looking for the ball. It frees up so many players to make runs and gets the opposition thinking. At the moment we're a dream to play against because no fucker takes any chances or moves, letting Schar bring it out and giving him options is like having 2 extra players on the pitch. It relieves 1 player from collecting a 5 yard pass and allows him to move into a position to actually make the other team react. It's so fucking simple. Unfortunately it requires dropping Lascelles who can't do it for Schar who can do it. It shifts everything. It moves the play 20 yards up the pitch. It means we're more dangerous. It means we should keep the ball for longer, building better attacks etc. We've been soft as puppy shit for so long. Time to step it up and dictate games. We've got the players, fucking do it.
  8. When you decide you want to tweet stuff like that and then share it with the entire (twitter) world then you're taking a hell of a chance. I've got very little sympathy for him if it's eventually caught up with him, he's the victim of his own stupidity. Just one more example to stay a million miles away from twitter.

Maybe he has a really good reason for turning it down? I still think a 4 month loan is far more preferable to not playing competitive matches, he's clearly been told he's not part of Howe's plans and he's going to be moved on. I bet he was gutted when Howe told him but he's not going to change his mind if he's refused the chance to briefly play for another team and prove him wrong. At least Hendrick will put himself in the shop window and possibly I catch a few eyes and get himself a move, I've got far more respect for him than I have for Lewis and Clark. Probably sounds harsh but I've always had that opinion of players who choose to sit and not play any football while their career passes them by.
  10. What was needed vs what actually happened is a very difficult debate. The squad in November/December was rank, absolutely fucking rancid tbh and frankly a dozen players would have been needed to sort it. All positions and all areas needed attentions. The squad was rammed with players not fit for purpose and replacing them all was simply unrealistic, it was never ever going to happen. Filling all of the holes in the squad in a month was never going to happen, not quite sure what some people expected them to do tbh. Some fuckers would twist on 21. They did all they could. They signed 5 and spent a fortune doing so. Could they have spent more and signed more? Absolutely. We'd have had a squad of 40 and a wage bill that would have crippled us. Was it perfect? Absolutely not. I think we're a forward short tbh but looking at the big picture we've done rather well imo. Not sure what more people wanted. Not sure how greedy some people were. Not sure how many or how much would have been enough. They've done their best and I appreciate it, it's been a long time since the owners did their best for this club. It's been a long time since they did their best to move the club forward because they genuinely gave a shit about it and wanted it to be the best it could be. The very least they deserve is a little gratitude rather than bitching and moaning about not getting another striker through the fucking door having already spent £90m. Some fuckers deserve Ashley back.

Given the option of either: 1) Deactivated from the squad and no football until August 2022 at the earliest whilst picking up PL wages or 2) Go out on loan, stay fit, play games every week and possibly impress scouts who may be watching whilst still picking up thousands of £ each week. Any cunt choosing option 1 can fuck clean off. Absolutely fucking done with them as players and individuals. They've got every right to make their choice and sit it out each week, no problem. I've also got every right to think they're a greedy, cowardly little fuck for doing so. Works both ways.
  12. I've got no idea what will happen tbh, I hope they can. I'm invested again and I absolutely want it to happen but there's never any guarantees but I'll be watching to find out. If I wasn't I'd not be posting and I'd have checked out long ago tbh
  13. I think every one of us would have liked another forward and can totally understand the 'where are the goals coming from?' question, it's a legitimate concern and question tbh. I think we've been far too reliant on individuals (Wilson and ASM) bailing the team out of the shit despite having minimal chances and possession. We've pinned our hopes on a couple of players for that long that we've forgotten that it's a team game and all of our players are capable of scoring goals. In theory, the new players should mean more possession of the ball in better areas, that should mean we create more opportunities, get more bodies into the box. More crosses, more corners, more height at set pieces, more shots on target, moving the entire play 20 yards up the pitch and spreading the goals out like normal teams do. Yeah, I'd love another £35m striker but they've all got a responsibility to share the load out between them. Looking at Fraser, ASM, Willock, Wood, Wilson getting half a dozen each, Burn could get a couple. It's not about 1 or 2 carrying the team, the team needs to step it up and look to get forward rather than playing it safe and not taking any chances at all. Spending £90m on the team and having it function in exactly the same way it did under Bruce is unthinkable now. That's where the goals need to come from now.

Would love it if Rangnick decides to sub him on next match. He's waiting for the ball to go dead then suddenly starts to go back the bench and get his tracksuit back on saying he's changed his mind at the last minute and doesn't want to play.
  15. Can't fault their effort and determination. Can't fault them putting their money where their mouth is. They've been lead on and let down by all accounts, clubs and players dicking them about for a month but still managed to get 5 into the club spending circa £90,000,000 in the process. Christ, that's something that's never happened before, it's unprecedented. Is it enough? No idea, that's down to the players now. Being greedy I'd have liked 1 or 2 more but it was always going to be ridiculously difficult to sort an entire rancid squad out in a notoriously difficult window. Think some are being very harsh on Staveley but can understand their logic even if I don't really agree with it too much. It was a huge task and they've done all they can and they deserve huge credit for that imo. They've bought half a team ffs. They now need to ask them to do the business on the park.
  16. Probably knows he'd embarrass himself at that level every week too. Needs to set his sights lower. I wouldn't even think about registering this wanker in the squad, let him steal his wage until his deal expires whilst attending to his garden and his golf handicap. Fuck him.
  17. All depends what criteria you're using when 'judging' the Transfer window tbh. From my personal point of view I think they've done very well indeed to get Trippier, Wood, Bruno, Burn and Targett in and the squad and team look much better and stronger for it. They've seemingly grafted non-stop and had to deal with all of the hassles of negotiating with utter cunts, time-wasters and the awful League position hasn't helped either. I'm not sure what more they could have done tbh, they've signed 5 and were clearly in the market for many more and would have made the cash available to get the deals done, it's difficult to fault them. That said, some would ask 'have they done enough to ensure we stay up?' and come up with a different answer. I think we're still lacking in many areas, especially CM and CF and some will always want 1 more player regardless. Some will be pessimistic and say they've not done enough but this completely ignores what they inherited, the squad was rotten, unfit and lacking in any real enthusiasm and motivation. Turning all that around in 1 window was never going to happen completely. Firmly believe they've done as much as anyone could have expected 5 weeks ago. I don't know if it's going to be enough but not sure they could have done more than they already have done. We've got more than a good chance now, the players need to do their bit now, it's over to them.

Pretty pathetic from Man U tbh. Feels like they're punishing him for not signing a new contract so they're going to continue to bench him. He's their player and it's their prerogative but it's a shit way to treat him personally. Move on
  19. It's fair enough tbh. Big move, new league, new country, new language etc and we're still very much in the shit. I do think he might just regret it in a few years time but we'll have to see. Move on.
  20. I think I'd rather just ask a random taxi driver his opinions on football as opposed to this addled fuckwit. I'd get largely the same responses.
  21. Still think we're a bit thin down the spine as we speak. Getting 4 in so fair is good going, Bruno and Trippier are both excellent signings but another 2, either loans or permanents, tomorrow would seal the deal imo. Get 2 of either CB, CM or striker and we're good as gold.

They're like a toddler who repeatedly throws their ice cream on the floor every 2 minutes and demands another one. Who the fuck do they think they are? They've done nothing but slag the League off and the teams in it, given it the big one every year and now they're getting fucking pasted with increasing regularity. At what point do they take a step back and ask themselves if they're part of the problem? The answer is never. The entire footballing world is wrong and they're right.
