Every one of us can see it but if those new players don't come in and we do get a few injuries then we're looking pretty thin. It's almost there, would be a hell of a shame to not push it as far as we possible dare financially, get them in.

We are so fucking close right now. Add 2 or 3 more players of quality into the squad and we're almost there, the bench today was pretty rank tbh. Good coaching, sensible management and better medical team with a bit of luck on the injury front and we've nearly got a very good squad.

If they thought Casemiro, Gakpo and Antony were the answer then they would have already been signed by now. They're panicking massively here. Casemiro is undoubtedly a good player, not seen too much of the other 2 but they're also highly rated too. But throwing this much cash at the problem a few days after Brentford and Brighton is 100% knee-jerk from the owners who are rattled to fuck right now.

It seems to be a fair price from most accounts like tbh. Squabbling over a couple of million, although I fully understand why they're doing it, only seems to lengthen the process which also pisses off the selling club and also alerts other clubs who come in gazump the deal and pay the money. It's a highly frustrating time right now
