  1. Pope Trippier Botman Schar Targett Bruno Joelinton New (DM, CM, AM take your pick) ASM Wilson New RM leaves a bench from: Dubravka Burn Willock Almiron Shelvey Wood Krafth Fraser Murphy Longstaff Anderson Ritchie Lascelles plus any other back ups to Wilson. Need a bench of 9 and ideally a few different decent options to bring off the bench. Every one of us can see it but if those new players don't come in and we do get a few injuries then we're looking pretty thin. It's almost there, would be a hell of a shame to not push it as far as we possible dare financially, get them in.
  2. We are so fucking close right now. Add 2 or 3 more players of quality into the squad and we're almost there, the bench today was pretty rank tbh. Good coaching, sensible management and better medical team with a bit of luck on the injury front and we've nearly got a very good squad.

Most still stuck firmly in stages 2 or 3 in Kubler-Ross. Watching stages 4 and 5 will be real popcorn moments for me
  4. It wasn't a penalty because if he'd given the penalty it would have been a penalty and this is obviously a bad decision to give against City. We'd never have heard the end of it from Pep et al
  5. Outstanding performances all over the park, that was brilliant to see from so many points of view. Superb game for all football fans, loads of effort from everyone in black and white, positive going forward and for the first time in decades we had a proper go at them and sustained it for long periods. We went toe to toe and matched them, both sides could have had another couple and it absolutely wasn't a backs-to-the-wall defensive shutdown. Proud of every one of them tonight, that was exceptional and that is now the benchmark for every game, that's the level we need to try and maintain for the rest of the season. That's a marker laid down for every other club in the league too. Boom, we're fucking back baby
  6. Just can't live with them once they up the tempo and move through the gears. Absolutely no criticism from me here, this has been largely excellent and so many positives already.
  7. Best we can realistically hope for is a draw tbh. Wonder how many times City fans have read that when spying on their next opponents forums?

    Players in public

That and the fact he left some of his coffee before he left. Clear indication that the entire squad is severely pissed off that the club are refusing to meet valuations and don't appear to be the wealthy fuckers he thought they were. He didn't say it, he didn't have to - his eyes said it all. Clear as day.
  9. Surely they'll be more determined to hang on to him so they can climb the table? They're going to need every good player they've got
  10. I'd be surprised if Sean Dyche's phone doesn't start ringing shortly.
  11. Lost count of how many times I've thought "hey, Arsenal look like they've finally got it right here with this team" over the last 12 years. Before it invariably turns to shit a few months later...
  12. Fair play, he searched and found the correct thread. He might just fit in
  13. If they thought Casemiro, Gakpo and Antony were the answer then they would have already been signed by now. They're panicking massively here. Casemiro is undoubtedly a good player, not seen too much of the other 2 but they're also highly rated too. But throwing this much cash at the problem a few days after Brentford and Brighton is 100% knee-jerk from the owners who are rattled to fuck right now.
  14. If they spent £50m on a striker and £50m on Casemiro as he’s trying to sell some of the club and both of them get injured - £100m down the drain. Would you do that? Would you do that?
  15. And by the way, please say thank you for getting Casemiro in because really by rights, they’re lucky to have him.

    João Pedro

It seems to be a fair price from most accounts like tbh. Squabbling over a couple of million, although I fully understand why they're doing it, only seems to lengthen the process which also pisses off the selling club and also alerts other clubs who come in gazump the deal and pay the money. It's a highly frustrating time right now
  17. Joelinton forces through a move to Forest on deadline day and Botman is now being scouted by Everton AND Villa
  18. Casemiro to Man U Bruno to Real McSauce to us Joelinton transfer request and Paqueta to Real in January
  19. Free fiver on PP for the Man U/Liv game on Monday night
  20. Wages alone make it a £108m transfer if those numbers are correct, getting absolutely rinsed. Should just change their name to Cayo Perico FC
  21. In this day and age I think every single penny should be fully disclosed and accounted for for every transfer. What have they got to hide? FFP is definitely a thing so why shouldn't it be published rather than the canny shady "undisclosed fee". Why hide it? Who got what?
  22. Thought it looked a bit big at the time. Only stuck 200 on it though
  23. Ross Stewart 2 sot is 11/2 on sky. Given he's their main man then that's decent imo
