Long sleeve, cotton, numbered Juve shirt circa 83ish. Bit snug but absolutely lush

20 years or so ago I had a huge amount of respect and sheer awe for what Barca were at the time, the refusal to sponsor shirts, the history of the shit they endured under Franco, the unbelievable football and the personalities at the club. That's completely gone now. They're just another arrogant and arsehole club on a massive decline.

Barcelona are fucking ridiculous. How can they let that happen at this stage in this game at this point in the season?
-
Fulham always appeared to be basically Diet-Brighton. Knocked it about well enough but were utterly toothless and simply couldn't win enough games to even give themselves a chance. Meh, fuck it
-
I wish Gary Neville would get a shave before he does Monday Night Football. Looks like he's had a massive glass of Ribena atm

About 16th. Absolutely fucking perfect, right in the Goldilocks zone - just about good enough to keep the PL cash coming in but not good enough to raise expectations, Ashley will be currently ripping the shrivelled end of his cock off, this is his perfect season

"Newcastle in the last 14/15 years have been in the bottom half of the Premier League. We would all love to see Newcastle being back to signing the Alan Shearers of this world for world record fees but that just isn't going to happen. This is quite possibly the worst shite he's ever uttered in the last 22 months. The fact he's justifying his dogshit performance as manager for the last 2 seasons is bad enough, it's the implied "hey, this club's been here for ages, I'm no worse than the rest of them". The very fact he's come out and stated that the club's been in exactly the same position since Ashley's been here is damning. It's a backhanded way of saying "this is where we are, this is where we have been and this is where we will remain under this owner", he's not said it explicitly obviously but it's a tacit admittance and endorsement of the lack of ambition, hope and drive to be better than just existing in the bottom half. He's perfectly happy to be part of the team that only wants to finish bottom half - it suits him as he's proved he's incapable of top half management and it keeps him in a job and ticking over. Manager and owner are perfectly happy to maintain the (reduced) performance, one is incapable of improving and the other doesn't give enough of a fuck, they dovetail nicely and complement each others flaws and weaknesses. We'll never get the club we all want until both of them fuck clean off and are gone for good.

The bloke's a fucking arsehole. Bangs on about having to accept criticism then spits the dummy out when journalists write perfectly factually correct stories about what's happening in the club and holding a little vendetta against him as a result of it. He's a fucking snake and anyone taken in by him is as fucking thick as he is.

They'll just be relieved to be able to get away from their wives again. They've also got a 15th position to celebrate too, it'll be all smiles and asking Steve to give them a wave.

Who's 'shut you down'? Grow the fuck up man.

The entire debate/discussion could easily be contained in 1 thread. That's all I'm saying. Don't care what side of the fence people are on, just be respectful and discuss the topic. The very creation of the positive thread has helped to create the division of opinions and posters imho. I'll bow out and let people get on with it. The sooner it's resolved the better, both threads are now a fucking disgrace.

Spawny fucking cunts

This constant "positive v negative" nonsense is just ridiculous. Its not positive v negative, it's just another way to frame a discussion or debate. The fact there is 2 threads is absurd, just discuss the topics like adults, there's absolutely no need to have a 'positive' thread, just be positive in the thread that's been created and discuss things in 1 theead as we normally do across the entire forum without exception. It's bizarre as it is ridiculous in here.

There's 20+ years of evidence that this useless fat cunt is an absolutely hopeless football manager. A little run of decent results doesn't mask that - he's still just as shit as he was 2, 5 or 10 years ago. Pushing mere survival as being as some kind of success shouldn't be tolerated. It might be successful to someone as shit as Bruce but it should never be deemed as "successful" for the club.

Given how many shots we concede it was free money tonight, same as Salah a couple of weeks ago.

He's done him there imo

Pretty clear to me that they already think they've done enough and have enough points on the board. Very confident they're looking solely at Fulham's results and reacting accordingly, it's the only thing that explains the pathetic lack of urgency today - Fulham lost so we can just coast this one, let them have time and space and we're both one game nearer the end of the season and the gap remains the same - job done. It sums up the manager perfectly, no ambition other than the absolute bare minimum, no attempt to get after a very poor Arsenal, no attempt to try and reel in the 4 clubs within a couple of points ahead in the table, just stay up - 17th is fucking AOK and it's remit delivered for Mike. The team reflects the manager - lazy, unmotivated and seriously lacking in quality, and the manager reflects the owner - incompetent, stale and devoid of any ambition whatsoever. 17th? That'll do. The manager accepts shit and duly gets it.

Because they know that they, more than any other media outlet, have created and perpetuated the "Big 6" mantra. They have constantly referred to this lot as the Big 6 clubs, they create little mini-tables of results "against the Big 6", goals scored against the Big 6, Man U's results against the Big 6 this season, linking players to Big 6 clubs - happened today with Grealish named as a potential signing, and so on. They've caused them to feel superior to the rest of the pyramid and they shouldn't be surprised that they've now acted on it. They've been feeding the monster for fucking years.
-
Fucking abysmal this like. They've had a week to prepare for this today an not one of them are even pretending to give a single fuck about it. It's like they watched Fulham lose yesterday and thought, fuck it, doesn't matter today and they're just dialling it in. It's like a testimonial, the lack of urgency, pressing and effort are disgusting.
-
If we turn this lot over tomorrow then the gap between the 2 sides will only be 7 points. Considering the absolute pigshit we've played for months on end that's a damning indictment on Arteta and Arsenal in general, they're a shadow of what they used to be and falling further and further behind each year. Bless them.

Yeah I get that but if he doesn't catch him with the follow through then Vardy has a chance of getting to the loose ball and getting a shot off? But he doesn't get that chance because he's caught with the follow through.
-
Vestergaard has clearly caught him with the follow through and fouled him as he's about to run on to the loose ball. I seem to be in the minority but I think it's definitely a free kick and, due to where it's happened, it's probably a red too. Not sure what Redknapp and Bent are on about, he's fouled him with the follow through even though he's won the ball. You can't just ignore what happens after he's touched the ball?
-
Keep waiting for them to click back into a bit of form but it's just not happening. Maybe they are just that shit and/or they've run out of legs.

Real, Brentford and Sunderland at 10/1 on Betfair. Just a quid like, as per
