  1. Was going to say similar When there's no deterrent then they'll just keep on fouling and break the game up as much as possible. Destroy the flow of the game without any punishment. Ref has been one of the worst performers on the pitch so far imo
  2. Talk about stalemate, jesus this is horrific. Can't believe I've spent 3p of electricity watching this drivel. I feel robbed
  3. Hope so. It's a bit too parabolic that one
  4. Would be ridiculously harsh to tag on another 6 months on to the end of his original ban. So it'll probably happen tbh
  5. Cuz we're livin', livin' in a crazy maaaaze

Totally deserves the start but he'll be under pressure to perform even though it's only a friendly. Tonight is his big chance to book a seat for the Euros, serious competition to get into that squad
  7. Can't forsee any issues whatsoever in completely changing systems with virtually no notice at all over the course of a summer. Sure they've got it all planned out and are definitely on the ball though, no need to worry, it'll be absolutely fine
  8. The Germany (H) one is nice but only in long sleeves
  9. Just a petulant, ignorant bully. It's all laughs when it's going his way but as soon as he gets a question he doesn't like he flips the switch and becomes an utter, utter cunt of a human being. No need to be that twattish to the random reporter but he's done it so often it's made people hate the prick Delighted they're out Delighted he's leaving Hoping he never, ever comes back
  10. 6.5th was par before the season kicked off imo. We've been dealt a harsh hand this year but that's the standard he'll be judged by tbh. Anything less than par and he'll be asked some very uncomfortable questions at the end of the season
  11. I think a lot of them would actually like that tbh Remove the top 6/7 and the challenge is to be the best of the rest, at least the likes of Palace, Wolves, Everton, West Ham would have a realistic chance of topping that lot. The whole thing is just utterly fucked though, it's a rigged game, the sme teams are winning year after year in all of the top leagues almost without exception. The same teams are making it through to the last 8 of the CL every year and it's just a huge game of pass the parcel between the same teams and that's exactly the way they want it. And they've got it.
  12. But then 19/20 clubs voted for the new rules? I'm sure loads of them don't give a shit because they know they'll never be in a position to genuinely challenge the top teams. Losing £105m+ over 3 years seems preposterous to a large amount of owners, especially when just staying in the PL is worth £130m+ every single year
  13. Claiming it's the actual state of things is 100% true and a lot would agree. But them agreeing is very different to them supporting any action to reverse it, I'm sure a lot would just say 'Yeah, you're right. Tough shit, get on with it'
  14. And every neutral fan in the sport will piss themselves and give the old boo-fucking-hoo. The statement would be 100% correct but thinking anyone would feel any sympathy for us is fanciful. We're universally hated, largely because of our ownership, and a classic example of 'money can't buy you everything'. No one would give a shit, it's an acceptance that the whole sportswashing project is a futile venture. It can never succeed and most neutrals would applaud it
  15. To absolutely no-one's surprise we've been knocked out by a far superior team. They scored their winner in the 13th minute and added the cushion about 15 minutes later, knocked it into neutral and glided home in relative comfort. We were outclassed and out of our depth from the first whistle to the last. If we have a poor run from now until May then I honestly think he's going to be in a bit of bother. Personally I think he's got the rest of this season and at least 20 games next season but I'm not running the club. The club is being run by rich, successful and expectant cunts who don't really do failure or excuses, they're ruthless. We knew this when they took us over and so far it's been mostly roses but a drab end to the season and I think he'll be in a bit of bother whether I agree or not. 4th to (maybe) 10th will not go down well despite all of the legitimate context surrounding it He absolutely deserves another season but I'm getting concerned he'll not get it
  16. This is the equivalent of holding a midget at arms length while he flailes away. We're hanging on and swinging away and they're just containing the situation.
  17. We're just comfortably outclasssed in every single area of the park. It's no one's fault as such, it's just so difficult playing the best team on the planet in their own backyard. Not going to have too much of a pop at this tonight, losing to this lot is no disgrace but we need to step it up a bit and at least try and land a few punches at the other end. We've been a little unlucky with the deflections but they're a class apart
  18. At what point do we accept that the 'playing nice' approach, as reasoned as it was, simply hasn't worked? In hindsight, all it has done is to give them more time to come up with more rules that hinder the investment in the club to threaten the old guard. I can understand the initial 'hey, we're actually ok, we're not going to spunk loads on 30 players, we'll play the game and try and play by the rules bro' shite but it's simply not worked. I don't want to be popular, they all fucking hate us anyway, I don't want to be nice, I want us to be successful and that means we inevitably need to break the rules, challenge them and win. Preventing any and all competition to the established 6 clubs needs to be brought down. By hook or by crook. It strangles any competition and challenge to the top and that's got to be unhealthy for the sport in this country. Blocking 86 out of 92 clubs from having a chance at success is no way for a professional sport to operate. It's fucking backward so let's break it open completely
  19. Kane coming back to haunt Arsenal one last time would be pretty tasty

I'm just done with them tbh. I've seen them try their best and their efforts are appreciated but the lack of quality from the pair of them has fucked me off in the last few months. It's not their fault, I understand they're doing their best but it's just not good enough. They both need to be moved on and I'm not going to feel bad about it either. They're both poor, poor footballers despite how hard they try. edit: I never told them to "FUCK OFF" either btw

Having energy and stamina is fine but when it's just headless chicken stuff, it's useless. Running around and trying is fine but when it's not backed up with footballing intelligence then it's useless. Same goes for Almiron. Running and trying isn't enough, sorry lads, off you pop

Just need to move him on to whoever is fucking stupid enough to buy him from us. Price is irrelevant, just get him out
  23. Must admit I'm not far away from this too. The last 4 or 5 months aren't a blip, he's been brilliant to get the club form 19th to 11th to 4th but now we've dipped back into mid-table. He fully deserved all of the praise for doing so but now it's going backwards he's going to be asked some uncomfortable questions. He's ultimately responsible for results and performances, good or bad, and they've been largely bad for a long time now. He absolutely deserves the rest of this season and probably next season too but the doubts are creeping in, he's under the pump but what's he doing to change it? Why do we look so shit? Why are we conceding so many soft/shit goals? Why are we so easy to play against? Why are we playing the same way in the same formation every single game? Where has the discipline gone? Where has the aggression gone? Why are we getting done on the counter 10 times a game? Where has the defensive composure gone? Why are we shit scared to put a challenge in to stop attacks at source? You can't just say "injuries", it's more than that. It's far more than just injuries
  24. Feels like a huge regression this season and we're almost back to where we finished up in 2022. The hard work, progress and momentum built up in 22/23 has largely unravelled since October and we're now a shadow of the side we were 12 months ago. Everything that side had, all the qualities and dna has just dissolved away and we're left with that heap of shit tonight. I know, i know, injuries have played their part but there's more too it than that. We don't even play the game like we did a year ago, we're nicer, more open, looser, less organised, sloppier and passive. We're predictable, a yard shot on pace and don't snap into tackles any longer. We went from the side everyone feared to the team everyone wants next on the fixture list and putting it all on injuries is weapons-grade horseshit. We've gone backwards in a major way and it's undeniable
