Traore. Had his work permit approved today. Pretty sure he did anyway. edit: may have jumped the gun a little, can't see official confirmation yet but it's in the pipeline and/or done.

No reason why we can't go there and win but I just don't think we will. West Ham winning last weekend will mean they target this as one of their remaining 'must win' games and they'll go for it. New striker making his debut for them possibly and the return of Carroll means it won't be any finesse football, they'll fucking belt it at every opportunity and I think we'll cave in eventually.

Every report going is saying his agent asking too much is the reason not us/Lyon Always staggered by claims like these. Surely the player decides where he wants to move and it's the player instructing the agent to do the deal with Team x rather than the agent calling the shots and making the decisions? Baffling that agents wield so much power that they dictate where their employer plays. Tail wagging the dog man, ridiculous.

Head injury? quick look....nah he's just smashed his nose through the back of his face, play on....

This act never becomes tiresome at all.

Would love to see a central midfield 3 of Sissoko, Anita and Cabaye, Ben Arfa on the right, Remy on the left with a proper striker linking things.

Norwich handed us both goals in our win. Cardiff we had a deflection for the first goal, and against Stoke we were woeful until they started losing players through players getting sent off for no good reason. if we do it it's not because we were unlucky, it's because we f***ed up. luck is when an outside agency affects the game in a cackhanded mannner. like I say today wasn't bad luck, that decision would never have gone against man city. Well I thought we were talking about luck. The incidents I mentioned were about luck, whereas the Tiote goal being chalked off was anything but. the incidents you talked about weren't luck then. they were poor play from the oppo. (I'll include cardiff as we had been the better team) Aye, taking advantage of poor defending isn't luck in the slightest. Stoke going mental wasn't lucky, it was convenient and most welcome but if they decide to go mad and foul like fuck that's just poor indiscipline.

Tried it once before with David Elleray but Tony Adams called him a "fucking cheating cunt" or words to that effect within a few minutes. Said this a million times but the only people allowed to speak to the officials should be the captains.

£3m for a player who's making zero contribution is insane like. Too good to be true in all honesty, as much as I like the bloke he's not worth that imo.

"You do realise some cunt in a tent has got half a billion on City HT/FT don't you? Now I'll ask you again, was it offside mate?"

More of a 'wild thrash' tbh, but aye. I'm not watching it btw, vexed me first time round.

He is right though. It was an awful decision but Pardew is a right prick In what respect ? We just had a awful decision go against us, what do you want him to do, just shrug his shoulders and shake everyone's hand. I have no problem at all with his emotion today. I don't want him to call the opposition manager an old c*** You mean the old c*** that thought the refree gave his team no help at all today. Hmmm Managers defend their teams and rightly so. Pellegrini is now and always has been a much better manager and person than that arrogant prick Pardew Being a better manager doesn't make him not an old c*** and to say what he said after the game is just bizare and plain sinile, he's an old c***, pardew got it spot on. What kind of person calls another man they don't know an old c***? It happens every day life all the f***ing time man, when someone acts like a c*** and they are old, calling them an old c*** in a highly emotional situation is completely fair. It is if you are a complete knacker What kind of person calls someone they don't know a complete knacker? Every time I use my car tbh.

Right this cunt's getting turned off.

Fair point. I think had our equaliser stood then we'd have finished the game with 9 men but we'll never know tbh. Most of the bookings and bad tackles came after the goal decision. Quite clear that the ref caused our players to feel a massive injustice which riled them up. Agree totally. There's nothing to suggest that had our goal stood then City could have upped it a gear or 2 and won regardless. All hypothetical stuff though.

Wonder how much money has been placed on City/Liverpool in the Asian betting markets today?
-
Put enough into that game to justify getting a point tbh. Didn't really cause them enough problems though and you can't go missing one-on-one's like Remy did. You've got to put them away if you're going to get a result against teams as good as City.

Wonder if Sissoko will take Nasri's place at the World Cup?
-
Nasri down. Hope it's nothing trivial.
-
Cabaye needs to be subbed immediately.

Had the lino raised his flag immediately then I could have, sort of, accepted it as a genuine error. The fact he kept it down indicates he saw nothing wrong with the goal. He was persuaded into finding an infringement by the City players and the ref and that's the real disgrace. Human error I can accept, wilful collusion/cheating like that is reprehensible. Bent as fuck.
-
Had Tiote scored that against Crystal Palace the lino would have just trotted towards the halfway line without a second thought.
-
Every fucking time, so, so fucking easy.

Aye, no axe to grind here either. I've got a lot of time for grafters, even the ones who aren't that good really. He signed, he did his best and worked as hard as he could have. You can't ask for much more than that tbh.

They were only slightly less shite than Man U IMO, can't remember them creating much apart from the two gifted goals. Relatively speaking obviously. Still think if Man U click at home for 15 minutes they'll score 2 or 3 and win the tie fairly comfortably. To go to Old Trafford and defend a single-goal lead for 90 minutes in a semi final would be some going.
