  1. The amount of money coming in is irrelevant. It could be £15m, £17m or £22m it doesn't matter. The fact is our best player is on his way out and no amount of money in the bank can make the slightest fucking difference to what happens on the pitch and ultimately that's what I'm interested in. Losing him is one thing, banking the money and seeing the team suffer is just fucking neglect tbh.
  2. Being pragmatic about the situation I'm resigned to seeing Cabaye leave. It's annoying and frustrating but players come and go all the time, we're going to get a lot of money for him. The thing that really rankles is the complete disregard for investing the cash we're going to get. Fuck the team, fuck the fact that him going severely weakens us where it matters, lets just make as much as we can and spend as little as we can get away with. Fuck the rest of the season and fuck the fact that after the weekend our next significant match is 6 months away. The priorities at this football club are so fucked up and backward it's untrue.
  3. the theory is if he throws another tantrum about leaving we'd lower our asking price just to remove a bad influence on the dressing room. Reality however has Mike Ashley in the way so god only knows how that would work out. Can't see Ashley giving the first fuck in that respect. His price is his price, we don't know what it is but I highly doubt Ashley will knock a few million off just because Cabaye throws his toys out of the pram. as I said its the standard theory and it must have some basis in reality otherwise clubs wouldn't continue attempts to unsettle players but Ashley is hardly conventional in football club owner terms. You're not wrong there. Still think we've leaked it in the hope another club becomes interested and the price is forced up. This theory is much more plausible imo.

  5. Not sure PSG even need to unsettle him tbh. Fairly sure that Cabaye has known for a while that they want him and it seems to be just a case of haggling over the fee. He was always going to leave the club either this window or the next one.
  6. No immediate need to strengthen therefore we won't. Why spend money when you can just make do with what you've got? Never be billionaires yeez lot.

They can say what they want, I expect 0 points against them in the derby. They'll win 1-0. We've not got the bottle to go at them and we'll lose timidly again.
  8. Moyes has taken the nucleus of the Championship winning squad and turned them into the worst Man United team I've seen for 25 years. They're dreadful and I'll be fairly annoyed if we don't finish above them this season having seen that sack of shit tonight. Utter wank.

Seeing how they went through tonight makes me think that Satan engraved their name on the fucking pot some months ago. Ridiculous turn of events have transpired to get them to Wembley. Not finished yet either.
  10. Hard to begrudge them it tbh. Rankles like fuck like but fair play.
  11. They're going to convert one of these corners eventually.
  12. Fucking finish a chance for fuck's sake man. Jesus....
  13. Has Hernandez even touched the ball in the last hour? Seriously?
  14. Sunderland know they've got to score now. Sitting tight and holding their shape sees them go out.
  15. Hard to fathom just how much Man U have regressed in a few months. Utterly abject by their own standards.

Could be argued they'd deserve it if they knock out Chelsea, Man U and City in succession.
  17. How much is Allardyce on a year? Where's that table thing of the best paid managers in the sport?
  18. Chelsea (A) next up too. Fuck him.
  19. Roger Johnson up against Sergio Aguero is the sort of contest that the League Against Cruel Sports should look into. Aguero skips past Johnson with ease, leaving the on-loan defender choking on fumes before slashing a shot wide of the top corner. (BBC)
  20. Wham only need 8 to win it outright ......
