No such thing as bad publicity. The more fuss that's kicked up (and he fucking knows there will be) the more it keeps his brand in the headlines. Doesn't make a blind bit of difference if it's positive or negative it's being talked about and that's all he's interested in. It's in the news. It's on the TV and it'll be mentioned whenever we play. He's already won.
  2. Any excuse tbh: John Sitton - Angry Football Half-Time Team Talk - Leyton Orient F.C. Love this clip.

    Sunderland...

Bardsley looking at a 4 match ban (as opposed to the normal 3 gamer) because he's already been sent off once this season. Poor lad.

Always get the impression that the FA have already looked at it loads from different angles and already decided he meant it simply because they've charged him. Had they felt it was accidental then they wouldn't have charged him at all. They probably know he'll plead not guilty.

Definitely intentional like. Deserves everything he gets and hopefully he appeals it and they tack another one on too. Nasty little fucker.

    Shola Ameobi

Genuinely don't know how he gets a game any more. To just see him play at all is baffling, to be in a position where he's starting games and we're relying on him is evidence of the backward transfer policy of the cunts running the gaff. Him merely being on the pitch represents the failure of the board.

Fucking abject tonight like, got to be said. I know he scored against Sunderland but he's not immune from criticism. Dreadful stuff and quite possibly the worst player on the park tonight.

Thankful for the point tonight as we should, by rights, have lost that tonight. They created enough chances to expect to put at least one of them away. Which is the entire point - we're ok when we're keeping it tight and nicking goals to win games but what happens when we concede first? I'd have very little faith in them coming back and getting a result out of the game because the firepower is simply not there. We're crossing our fingers and hoping the opposition don't score and we either hold on or nick it. It won't last forever and I don't give a shit about the stats as they aren't a true reflection of how we're playing. We've got out of jail more than once and it'll turn.
  9. Lucky to still be in this tbh, should be 3 or 4 down. Taylor is getting raped but Gutierrez is giving him no protection at all. The whole point of playing upfront is to have an advantage on the 2 CHs. Unfortunately, when one of those 2 strikers is Shola we may as well just play Best and by himself and bring Marveaux on to match their central 3 in the middle - or at least let us go 4-2-3-1. Needs changing or we'll get bummed again. They'll have the wind behind them this half too so they could quite easily pen us in a bit.
  10. Any news on how much the income went up by?
  11. 2-2 Barton will either be superb and score or get sent off.

    Sunderland...

Was speaking to a mackem mate at a wedding last night. Lovely bloke, known him for 25 years, red and white daft and genuinely loves his club. He understands where the problems are and his feet are definitely on the ground where football is concerned. He works at the training ground and is friendly with a few of the players - it's his dream job. We got talking about Sunderland and he told me that he watched a bit of the training on Thursday and they were practising crossing and finishing and, in his words it were "fucking pitiful". Crosses going fucking everywhere and in the 15 minutes he watched them he only saw one cross converted despite there being no keeper stopping the shots. He was really downbeat about the club tbh.

Wait until he has a few drinks.... Don't really drink much marra and I live over your way so I'm used to getting shedloads of stick. Water off a ducks back. I'm just here to add to the debate and for a bit of crack. Good crack mind, not s*** crack. Good to hear I'm sure you're aware of the poster Wearside? Same bloke man. Just his second go. Err, it really isn't mate. I'm Randy Savage on here and the SMB. I know of a 'Wearsider' on the SMB, but I'm not sure about 'Wearside.'

If he's got a release clause he'll get a spot on the fucking bench.
  17. Their answers are meaningless. Their actions, or rather the lack of them, give a truer reflection about the levels of investment and ambition than Llambias' drivel will.

Back in March Carroll appeared to be Capello's golden boy, marking his second cap with his first senior goal against Ghana at Wembley. Since then though, the Gateshead-born frontman's career seems to have stalled. He missed the subsequent Euro 2012 qualifier against Switzerland - and the European Under-21 Championships - due to injury, and during the summer he was pictured partying on holiday in Barbados. However, despite not even finding a place for the Liverpool striker among his substitutes in Bulgaria on Friday, Capello's warning was of a general variety rather than isolating specifics. "I think if he wants to be a good player, a good sportsman, he needs to drink less," Capello said. The Italian said he had spoken to Carroll but declined to give details of his advice. "It's a private message. I spoke with him. It's a private discussion between two people but he understands a lot. He's young, we need to help him. He's a really important player. "He needs to be careful, because he's an important player not only for the England team but for Liverpool. I think he understands what he needs to do." It would be a major surprise if Carroll was in contention for a starting berth in tomorrow's encounter with Wales at Wembley, purely on the basis of how well England's attack performed in Sofia on Friday. Yet Capello is considering changes for what he hopes will be his last competitive game at Wembley as England manager. In dismissing the theory that he might drop either Gareth Barry or Scott Parker, who are both a booking away from being suspended for the final game in Montenegro on October 7, Capello highlighted the difficulties his side encounter at Wembley. A run of three draws and a defeat from their last four outings at the national stadium is their worst for almost three decades and with the pace of Gareth Bale at their disposal, Capello is anticipating Wales adopting safety-first tactics. "It is possible I will change the style," Capello said. "I don't think about yellow cards and whether some players will miss the next game. It is step-by-step and tomorrow will be a tough game. "I watched the game they played against Montenegro. They played really well on the counter-attack and Bale is back on top form. "After his injury he only played at 80 per cent of his capacity. Now he is really good. "He is a really important player. He is so fast. It is difficult to stop him. We need to prepare something." Needs a kick up the arse tbh.
  19. Complete waste of time. A pointless exercise because they've got no intention of investing.

    Alan Pardew

Don't think we've got any intention of paying decent money for a striker either last window or next. Any bids we supposedly make are made in the knowledge that either the club or the player (or both) will reject it. But at least they can say that they tried. That's the main thing.
  21. Fucking guys. You wait til we all go to bed then start this shit?
  22. Fuck it, I'm out. Best of luck.
  23. I want to stand. You're not allowed. We used to be able to stand. Not any more. They stand, so I am. We'll take away your ticket. Don't care I want to stand. You're not allowed. I'll move to a different part of the ground and stand there. You're not allowed. We used to be able to stand. Not any more. They should bring back standing Not happening. We used to be able to stand. It'll go in eventually.
  24. They all live and rain in Moscow though don't they? They just fly in and out for matches.
