I think the loan deal suited everyone at the time. Villa got an unhappy player out of the club, maybe permanently. He has played two full games for us. He proved enough for us to buy him at a low price, but he hasn't done enough to show that he has settled into this team. Change too many players too quickly and we suffer. He's a quality player. We should be building a team around him. To put a limit on the amount of quality players we bring in is fucking barmy. The more, the better.
