He is going to give them a boost but losing Drogba, Essien, Kalou, Mikel is bound to affect them, especially if they pick up injuries and suspensions in January.
-
Chelsea look like the team to beat but the African Cup might come at the wrong time for them. Throw in the fact they can't buy anyone in January whereas Man U still have about £40m burning a hole in Fergie's pocket from the Ronaldo cash and that might just be the crunch time of the season.

The success of the entire club depends upon the fitness of 2 players. One is injured - so he brings the other off to give himself half a chance of saving his job and Liverpool's season. An odious football club who, hopefully, will crash and burn in the most splendid way possible. Fingers crossed Man U win their 19th League title just to rub a bit more salt in too.

He knows he needs Torres firing midweek or he's out of a job tbh. Torres running himself into the ground 3 days before Rafa's game of the season isn't going to help anyone. God, I hope Lyon rip them apart.
-
Didnt Gibson say he made the change because the attendences were dwindling ? Maybe? Just a small club who've punched above their weight for a while now.
-
For their new managers first game ? No the wonder Southgate was peddled. There can't be much money coming into the club with shocking attendances like that.
-
a whopping 21k at Middlesbrough today btw.

37.

He had to get away to save his career man. Remember?
-
What the fuck is Cabbageface doing throwing himself around in his technical area like a twat? Fucking fat prick.
-
He's not in the same league as the other two man. Drogba in particular does absolutely everything better. Rooney is still learning/developing and will get even better. Drogba's best years are behind him (he's still very very good now like obviously) and he definitely won't improve in the next few years.
-
Torres Rooney Drogba. All 3 are fantastic though.

I honestly don't think Moat ever got close to subsidising the deal. it wouldn't surprise me to hear this being resurrected in the next few weeks. Do you know something we don't? loads. nowt to do with this though.

Hansen laying into Liverpool, get in. Paying the price for over-relying on Gerrard and Torres to bail them out of the shit every week. Take those 2 out and they're a very ordinary Premier League team.
-
What do you mean 'just'? They finished an entire point above us after not even winning on the final day. That's enough to go out on the pitch singing like a twat like you've just won the league, apparently. They've been absolute toss since last December. They were a complete surprise early on last year and had some cracking results to get them the points on the board. The rot has well and truly set in now though. If he doesn't walk he'll get peddled this week.
-
I think people just want a ballpark figure of how many points has been enough to go up automatically in the past. Never really payed much attention to the CCC before but usually there's one club that races away and either stays there or is reeled in by the pack and doesn't usually go up. The top of this league is very tight this year and lots of teams are dropping points on a regular basis. I'm pretty confident that if we can get our key men (Shola, Taylor & Coloccini) back then we should still go up as champions. 85+ should be enough but there's still a lot of work to put in yet.
-
He's basically just reminding the fans that he's got them into the Premiership and kept them there for a season. Just. Now he and his shit team have been found out and he's got no answers so he's going to get the bullet. He's getting his retaliation in first.
-
What an absolute fucking twat that bloke is.
-
Unofficially we're still on the market imo. If someone comes up with the cash, Ashley will sell us regardless of his statement last week.
-
Wins for Lyon and Fiorentina in the Champions League this week would make it virtually impossible for them to qualify for the knock-out stages. That might just be the final straw.
-
Got no time whatsoever for either of the Old Firm. If they've been a bit reckless with the cash then tough shit - they should have cut their cloth.
-
Tiny edit. You're right though.
