Nope. He's improved his level of performance but it's time to let him go. The only possible circumstances in which I'd give him a contract is if there was lots of interest in him. If clubs are sniffing about then, if he's on a contract, we'd get a fee for him. That said, I reckon the interest in him last summer was purely because he'd be very cheap with his contract winding down.

Things certainly haven't panned out as we'd all have liked. Definitely not. I feel like such a mug for giving him the benefit of the doubt. And I know I'm not the only one. I can honestly say I never thought we'd be in this much of a mess when he took over. The club is a shambles from top to bottom. So many bad decisions by so many people. The club just needs a complete overhaul. Fucking everything. From owner to ballboy and every fucker in between. The ballboys are wank man. Apart from Xisco that is. Keegan's parting gift to us man.

He'll just point you in the direction of Harris imo. He's in charge of finding a buyer.

Well, this is something NUSC is concerned about. We've been told several times that something will be have been decided/everything will be clearer by a certain date. We've got to that date and absolutely nothing has happened. It's a massive worry because we're being lied to and we're five weeks away from the transfer window opening. We're probably not going to be in the hands of new owners, unless things start happening quickly (which I admit is possible). We don't know if Ashley is going to provide some funds if he is still the owner. I'll say that I'm genuinely frightened by the prospect of January because we need new faces in, we have important players whose futures are very very uncertain and could leave in January. We're already right in the thick of a relegation battle and other clubs will use January to strengthen their squads. Meanwhile we're completely in the dark as to what's happening and I'm very concerned. Tom what do you think should happen if there are no buyers interested even at a "reasonable" price? That is a very good question, and a tricky one to answer. This is just my personal opinion and NOT any official position of NUSC, but I suppose the only thing I can think of would be to continue with trying to get a dialogue with Ashley (which we have been trying to do) and basically keeping awareness of the situation going. If that situation arises, there maybe other things we could do - the committee would probably have a chat about some ideas as to what we could do, and we'd raise it at the general members meetings as well and see what the consensus of the members was. But unless/until we get into that position, it's hard to say what line should be taken. NUSC should be discussing it now tbh. It's something that we need to consider, I agree. I just think everyone needs to take a step back & realise that the current lot may be here a while yet & have a plan for working together. Ashley could quite easily come out tomorrow & say there's no realistic hope of a sale in the short term & there needs to be something in place to ensure some sort of relationship exists for the good of the club. Well, one of the things we're trying to is to ask what's going on - sale or not. Basically we feel that as supporters we (and by that I mean all NUFC fans not just NUSC) have a right to know what the situation is. If he came out and said what was happening, would you believe him? (not being arsey btw.) No. Begs the question - if whatever he says is going to be considered as lies, what's the point in demanding to know what's going on? Whatever he says is going to be dismissed as shite. I agree. I don't trust anything that cowboy says. Although I can see why they would want to speak to him. Why though? What's the point? They don't like him. They don't trust him. They want him out asap. They think everything he says is lies/spin/bullshit. Why even bother? To receive some form of communication. Although my opinions are well known on Ashley and I don't believe a word his PR machine spins out. Which, I'm guessing, they wouldn't believe regardless of what he actually said... Just seems futile imo. Fuck it, we'll just have to see how it pans out.

Good. Hope Sheffield Utd take them to the fucking cleaners.
-
The cynical side of me thinks that Man U and Villarreal knew this was going to be a draw. A point each sends both through and lo and behold, that's exactly what it's looking like...
-
Fuck me, no longer it took a while for Everton to agree to it.

Yes. Essentially anyone can take a matter through the civil courts even if a case doesn't proceed through the law courts. Any such claim would be a claim for compensation sighting that Morgan's negligence was responsible for his injuries. The police could still become involved as well though if he makes a complaint of assault against Morgan. Gotcha. Be interesting to see how this one pans out.
-
Could Hume take Morgan through the civil courts Sned?
-
Nedved's still doing the business for Juve. Remains a class act.
-
I know I'm in the minority but I think it's the correct decision by the FA. The old bill might still have something to say about it though. Sned knows the inside track on that aspect of it.
-
Kinnear might be saying something different if N'Zogbia follows Milner's example and slaps a transfer request in.
-
It's the old 'extra match fitness vs. risk of injury' problem. Imagine the outcry if Owen has snapped his ankle playing for the reserves on his way back into the first XI.
-
Our midfield is quite poor I'd admit. Losing Gutierrez for 6 weeks and Barton to injury and suspension hasn't helped though. Guthrie & Butt isn't great, but it's still no better or worse than Cattermole & Brown at Wigan, Bowyer & Parker at West Ham, McCann & Nolan at Bolton, Whitehead & Reid at Sunderland, Andrews & Mokoena at Blackburn, etc. That's the point I was making. If we're going to play 4 in midfield then we're already halfway there with Gutierrez and Barton already on the books. Perm any 2 from Guthrie, Butt, Geremi, Duff and N'Zogbia and I'd say we're better than the clubs/players you've mentioned imo. The players are there, it's the disruption of the field that's clearly holding us back.

With O-Nut on this one. We're a couple of wins from being comfortable and on the shoulders of the top 6. We've got a team full of internationals and we've already had some difficult games out of the way. We're not playing anywhere near potential and we've had an awful run of losing 5 off the belt. Not saying we're brilliant but bar 5 or 6 clubs, we're as good as anything in the league and better than quite a few.
-
Just getting to that stage in the season where squads will be tested. Injuries, tiredness and suspensions all start to kick in and the likes of Stoke, WBA and Hull will start having to play lads that aren't up to it. We're lucky in as much as we've got a bigger squad and have got good (in comparison) players to come in for us. Long, long way to go yet. 72 points still to play for. We've also had Man U, Arsenal and Chelsea away don't forget.

Not totally sure giving an interim manager a big wedge of cash to spend was ever on the cards tbh.

Think Sunderland will win this one.
