If you notice, he likes to mark his man tightly and follow him everywhere, a la boumsong. One up top suits colo. Being one of the bigger clubs in this league means we're going to face lots of teams playing 5 in the middle and only 1 up top. Especially at home.

Get a bit of momentum going and we'll fill the ground imo.
-
Based totally on the body language of the situation, I reckon these 2 will sort something out that moves the club forward. Not a clue what that might be but I think they'll compromise a bit until they're all happy with it and we'll get an announcement. Something good's in the pipeline, I can sense it.

His errors won't be punished as much playing against a lower standard of forwards this year. He's a good player who need to adapt to this league quickly or he wont be much use to us. Needs to stop fannying about in possession and concentrate.
-
Not sure Campbell's up to it anymore tbh. Could possibly be our new 'Killer' but might just be a fucking liability.
-
Could be the difference this year. If he plays 35+ games then we won't be far away.
-
3-1 Jonas, Nolan & Carroll.

A bloke looking suspiciously like Moat was sitting to Ashley's left...
-
Bingo. I wish some brave man would just shoot the fucker in the head.
-
Better than the few he'll be leaving behind; no effort and no end product. Fair point. Already said I thought he'd have been gone by now. He's an outlet and can carry the ball away from dangerous situations but he invariably loses it and can't really find a key ball.

Whatever you say kid. Feel the noise, bring it back, or whatever it is the kids are into these days. Now get your cock out of Jonas mouth and speak something that makes sense. 3 f***ing assists. Are you f***ing winding me up you pleb? 38 f***ing games and that's his lot. Of course, not his fault he runs like a 'bull'? A bull that has been f***ing shot in one eye and is semi-blind in the other. On the sauce tonight JJ? Clear provocation. Provoking me into some kind of nonsensical over the top reaction. Yu can't be tell me chap that Jonas is anything above erm.....fucking pure crap? In the right team he might just produce it. Sadly, it's not going to be with us. Don't even think he's suited to the Premier League if I'm being honest. Lots of effort with no end product isn't what we need right now.

This is World Cup year and realistically he's going to be looking to play top-flight football or he may lose his place in the Argentine squad. I'm astonished he's still here tbh.
-
If he's that good what are Watford letting us loan him, rather than sell him to us?
-
You just know that if, somehow, we managed to get about 43,000 there tomorrow, the media would bang on relentlessly about the 9,000 empty seats rather than the biggest attendance seen in the CCC for years and years.
-
The only penny that will have dropped is that he can loan 5 players for nothing an build half a 1st team for free at this level quite easily. I'm not too bothered about bringing in 5 loans, in fact i think its a great idea to help out the club financially, but i'd like to see a manager with a plan making his own buys and using loans to expand the squad, not build the spine out of. Couldn't agree more. Getting a decent manager would be the best bit of business we could do atm.
-
Regardless of how good the lad is, this is the first sign that the penny may have just dropped and we actually need to start replacing some of the players who have left. Simpson may not be a world-beater but he's better than no-one and he's another body in the squad.

Rip their arms off at the socket. If true obviously.
-
Two words. Shay. Given.
-
No need gentlemen.
-
Wolves haven't spent much so far have they? Duff would be the type of player they'd target imo.
-
Take the money. £4m straight away and £6m saved on wages. He could be good for us this year but there's no guarantee. We won't get a better offer for him and his value is only going to go south. I can understand the need to keep the squad numbers up but he's far from irreplaceable. Sell the gormless twat.
-
If we were a normal club we'd take the cash and replace him with a talented young kid. Financially it's a good deal but football-wise, he needs to stay because he could do a job for us at this level.
-
When's his contract up?
-
He brings it on himself, that match report for Bassong the other day sums up his contribution. Fair enough, but is it that hard to ignore him (or his posts)?
