If you want one of these fuckers Bulivye, I'll just buy it and send it on to you mate?

Was superb until his knee exploded at Inter. Has never been the same since. Been living off his reputation for the past 3 or 4 seasons. Wouldn't touch him with a bargepole, given the amount of coin he'd cost us. Nah, Milan are welcome to him.

Steven Reid? Fucking lightweight Nobody will beat Johnny Metgod's free-kick for Forest against West Ham about 20 years ago. Hit like a fucking howizter.
-
Karma, I think they call it. Wouldn't wish injury on any professional but Savage is arguably the biggest footballing WUM of the past decade.
-
what a shame they have so many season ticket holders, they didn't have hardly any before the Halls and Shepherd. The question is, where were all the fans who will support the club forever [discounting those who think buying England players and qualifying regularly for europe is "failure"] befor 1992, and indeed almost entirely during the 1970's and 1980's. Here we go...... :

Too nice a bloke to be a pundit/analyst.

On par with baseball contracts, sorta. A-Rod has a similar deal, but the contract length is longer. Beckham will be the highest payed athlete in North America. The wages have been higly inflated in the media. His salary is actually only 51m over 5 years, with the rest coming from endorsements. It's still a high salary for a pro athlete in America, but by no means the highest. £ or $? Still a canny wage in either currency! Sorry, that's $51m over 5 years. I think that works out to about £100,000 p/w. Aye that's about right.

Fair enough mate. Just looked peculiar.
-
What's up with the spunky stars? Don't get it?
-
What's the problem? I thought the whole point of him being in the media is to give his opinion on things? You might disagree with what he says but he's only doing is job.
-
And what exactly do you plan to do about that, hard lad!? Who's a hard lad ya daft c***? I have two broken hands, more metal in my face than robocop, so the idea of me fighting any c*** doesn't really appeal, so why say "hard lad" f***ing nobhead. I'm just saying the way he goes on, on their board, is like Eyal Berkovic sucking Hitler's cock as far as I'm concerned. Who asked yee anyway ye fuckin prick. You asked, when you had a pop at one of my mates for nee reason. Being a mate I thought I'd stick up for him, but having read a post like that one above, I'd presume you havent got any mates eh? So you probably wouldn't understand that. For fucks sake. I fucking hate cockney gobshites. They all disappear up their own arseholes eventually. Pricks.

Still boils my piss does that fact... :wullie: Not so much angry at him. More the thick cunts who offered him a ridiculous wage in the first place. No telling what £13,000 a day would do if it was pumped into the sport at the grassroots level for a few months...

Not sure about Curbishley either. Decent but not great - he'll sign decent players and get them playing decent football but he's not the bloke to take them to the next level. I think they'll stay up by a few points but can't see them making the progress the new owners want/expect in the next few years.

We dont need Ljungberg, i'd say West Ham do. Not much creativity when Benayoun goes off form, and Etherington is shit. Boa Morte down the left, he was going for SWP down the right but now has (maybe) Ljungberg. Its not that much panic tbh, both good buys, Quashie is solid and consistant someone for when Re-coker is letting them down. Fair enough.......but what happens if they've signed Boa Morte and Ljungberg on big money only to go down anyway.... Still good buys?? As it happens, I think they'll get out of it this season but I still get the impression that something isn't quite right at West Ham. It just doesn't ring true and I think it'll go tits up within a few years. No reason for thinking this - just a hunch.
-
Sounds about right tbh. West Ham are rolling the dice in the hope that someone comes in and changes their season around. Doubt it'll be Ljungberg though. Way past his best and I can't see him being that motivated to play West Ham out of trouble... Would much rather Roeder went out and found the 'next' Ljungberg than sign this fucker.

Given you're such an expert on the subject, how many ticketless fans were there? The Taylor Report which took the best part of a year to report fully, concluded that "ticketless" fans had absolutely no impact on what happened that day. The terrace was still below full capacity whern the game was stopped at 3.06pm as evidenced by the many fans who were still outside and didn't gain entry with valid tickets. It's easy to pluck an opinion out of the air, but much harder to study what actually went on that day because it requires a bit more effort than a few throwaway lines on a forum. I said I'm leaving this alone and I meant it. We obviously disagree on this one and that's fair enough. I've formed my opinion of things from speaking to 3 Liverpool fans who went to the game, the live footage I saw on Grandstand and the still pictures printed. You agree with Taylor that the Liverpool fans were blameless - I couldn't disagree stronger. I realise my opinions may be unpopular but I couldn't give a toss tbh. Over and out. Post what you like.

Mate, you ooze misinformation,. pens 3 and 4 were rammed because all the supporters were directed towards them, whereas the other pens were sparsely populated. Thats what Rushian was saying. Heysel was the fault of Liverpool supporters, Hillsborough was not. They were both tragedies and both inside football stadiums but the similarity ends there. Heysel and Hillsborough can not be compared to each other, one was caused by hooliganism, the other wasn't. So they all had tickets then? Agree 100% with HTL (which, believe me, goes against the norm) on this one. We share the exact same opinion on this one. If the ticketless fans hadn't been there, the disaster wouldn't have happened. End of my participation in the thread.

Some of the banter between those 2 has been appaling. Glad I'm not the only one who picked up on it. Lawrenson sounds unusually fucked off for some reason.... Almost like he's been told it's his last match so he's not even trying to sound intelligent. Not that he is but you get my drift. bluebiggrin.gif
-
Nah. £70k a week is hardly 'free' is it? Best days are long gone. He'll go to Boro....
-
So every person in the lower tier of the Leppings Lane end had a ticket, yes? Sparsely populated? Give over - it was fucking rammed.

Try highlighting Midds post. If you can't see it quote it. Very good trick in my opinion Aimed at no-one in particular... :winking:
