Think he is the most crucial player in the squad just ahead of Trippier. If he gets injured, there is no one who would come close to replicating what he brings to the team not that I think there is a player out there, who could do what he does regardless. Other key players would be replaced by the stated players below. Krath for Trippier. Wilson for Isak. Dubravka for Pope Paqueta was closing him down similar to man marking at the start of the game but once we went 2-0 up and then 3-1, their game plan went out of window.

Is it too early to say that signing someone like Rice could make us title contenders along with a few more additions? Thought he was impressive despite the scoreline especially in the short spell in the 1st half.

Very harsh on Ben Arfa. A lot of people just seem to remember how he left the club rather than a few seasons on quality especially linking up with the likes of Cabaye, Ba and Co. Still one of my favourite players during Fat Ashley's time here.

I had a random thought that if we some how had Isak with Bruce in charge. Bruce would have rushed him back from injury at the start of the season and therefore obviously misses large chunks of the season. Bruce uses that excuse numerous times of why we are failing to covert our 2 chances per game hence why we are in a relegation battle. Then I woke up from the nightmare.
