They reckon the game will be called off, not to sure if they reward the win to Stoke or not though, should do unless they have a reasonable excuse. york coach turned up at 3pm

i'd doubt it. why would he risk the possibility of playing against prem teams week in and out for a one off cup game ? It's a huge game for Leeds, Bates will want him to feature so Leeds have a better chance of getting through than they would without him. Doubt it would go down well with the fans if they sold their big striker before a huge game, would be like us selling Ameobi before a game against the mackems. The chances of him getting injured are just the same as in any other game, and he'd be cup-tied for our match against Plymouth so why not sort out the deal after the game tomorrow? but you said he'd want to play then you've gave reasons why leeds would want him to play. I am interested to see him play against top opposition, but I would prefer to see him in a black and white shirt as soon as possible. if there is any truth in it i'd want his next game to be for us.

it's not a bad attitude at all. knock back the first offer as there is plenty of time in the window, ask for more than you want like any salesman would and probably sell on the next improved offer or so.

wrong. the majority of the medical focuses on cardio vascular stuff etc for heart problems etc. thats why many clubs sign players who have current injury problems ie minor broken bones. still why not have a dig at nufc for doing what everyone else does eh ? interesting to see if he plays this weekend.
-
tozer went last month didn't he ?
-
interesting choice of words with "I may have pissed my career up the wall," when, looking from here,he still may have.
-
even geremi ?

bernard v chelsea. patient passing, movement, killer through ball, classy dinked finish.
-
Dyer and Cole were quite nippy. dyer was over 10 yards (and many will point out thats where he'd brake down)and cole wasn't as quick as many thought, he had very quick footwork like beardsley.
-
i used to think that but being honest he's had 4 or 5 decent games in his time here so my confidence in that happening is pretty low.
-
it wasn't just the run (stopping onside) it was the vision to see the possibility. he's not feet quick but a little nouse can go a long way and a great spot by nolan aswell. it's funny to me when everyones goes on about pace when you think of our better players in the premier era only gillespie and bellamy had pace to burn, all the rest had guile, nouse, technique and intelligence.

number one on the opening post is all we need to guarantee promotion.

to be fair taylors run to open it up was fantastic aswell. how longs it been since we had someone look to get round the beck from a pass ?
-
The guys energy levels are fantastic, he attributes it to 14 hours sleep a day, but either way, he truly is a monster. and yet keefaz is still fucked ?
-
don't think it was lack of confidence as much as not having a clue what was going on footbal wise and getting sod all help to get through it. tough call if someone offered us a small loss on the deal, personally as a sentamentalist and he hasn't hid i'd like to see him have another crack in the prem with us......hopefully

Definitely an exceptional player, but Messi looks destined to be one of the all-time greats. Up there with the likes of Maradona and Cruyff. forwards (attacking players) always seem to be remembered and regarded higher than those of other positions, wrongly in my opinion.
-
I actually thought he had one of his better games on Monday night, and he didn't set up or score a goal. And ersonally I think as a team we look weaker when Enrique is having an off day more than anyone else. aye. steven taylor was similar early on in the season.
-
why not eh ? i like to think me having a go at peoples grammar may give others a giggle.
-
who's micky hughes and shouldn't your username have 2 "r"s in it ?
-
i'd stick him in our central midfield right now.

hang on, joans is playing at the same level you are slagging off players for doing ok at...surely it must count for him aswell. then the bit about colo'talor and enrique is just bizzarre as they are defenders and only an idiot would try to force a view that defenders can't be effective. tell you what jonas is crap defensivly, gets huge cheers every fifth game or so for chasing a man which is his job.
