Because some other clubs have turned it into a cartel.
-
And yet having no FFP style regulations make it also, anti competitive.
-
Got to wonder, given the well connected nature of the people we brought in behind the scenes and the way the football grapevine works, if our plan was to be whiter than white with FFP and FMV and wait for it to come crashing down round others?
-
Yeah. I'm getting Hot Fuzz vibes about this season.
-
I thi k they know there'll be no need. Also it sets a precedent. The Man City and Chelsea ones are bigger in scope and the bar has been set.
-
And maybe 3. The authorities shitting themselves that a Chelsea or Man City may be more likely to take the legal route rather than something like CAS.
-
Why wasn't FMV classed as a loophole then? Seems more like when it's a big 6 "take your time", when it's a non big 6 "get it stopped before they have a chance to use it and threaten the closed shop". Just pointing out the differences in the way things are treated.

It came into effect on July 1st and didn't affect what they had done and wouldn't have stopped them doing it again in that January window as he signed on the 15th.

Well it does sound delusional to say "we are innocent" when a lot of the evidence isn't available to us. No doubt there's no danger of you getting done if, as you say, they are trying to do you for FFP breaches before FFP existed. However you have to ask if those were the circumstances would it get this far as it seems a bit simple. Looking forward to your full admittance of your crookedness and tainted trophies if found guilty.

Don't know the exact ins and outs but isn't the 19mill overspend only that low because of the massively inflated CIVID write offs ?

Lead guitar and harmonies.

Is there something in there to say they knew ?

So quick ? It was about a year.

There were many that thought he should have gone in the summer (me amongst them) and it wasn't due to points or positions but performances over a long stretch that a good few couldn't see him pulling round. Quite similar actually to what happened at Sunderland with Peter Reid.
-
It wasn't the poor start that done for Robson, it was the continuation of the season before and the massive drop off (although we finished in the same position) from the season before that.
-
Yeah, this was the 90s. Before the coke explosion.

There's a few Keelan's on FB. All male.
-
I know it's a surname. Kevin Keelan was a keeper for Norwich in the 70s

It took me until 30yrs old to, I don't know if calm down is the right phrase but no doubt you get my drift and that was due to getting married, planning a family etc. Fortunately all my mates were doing the same so I never felt like losing out. The drugs (only weed), the risk taking at work etc all had to stop because my fuck up wouldn't just affect me. Realised this sat on a balcony in Ibiza, 5am with a spliff, watching my mates straggle back from all points. 35 of us on that holiday.

It's strange as at 23 I was in quite a responsible job. When we weren'tactually doing our job we were practically feral whether that was in the mess room or outside work hours. Fucking brilliant it was.

There were one or two on Arsenal message boards saying exactly that re Gabriel. He threw himself and there wasn't enough contact for a foul.
-
That game was a masterclass (I know it was Pardew). They had near 80% possession but there was only ever one winner. It was a pisstake

I think that's the one he meant but Swansea was very good in different style.
