  1. For those at the match, when the var stuff was coming up on the screen possible ball out if play, possible foul, possible wearing a tache in a public place etc.......was anyone expectting the next one to say "look, we're trying to find something......anything, to disallow this goal.
  2. A booking.....yes. but not the way he went about it. Intentional would have been kicking the ball away/imaginary card waving, not something the could have been a red (Jorginho).
  3. And not made us play with 10men for a bout 5mins (delays allowing players back on after treatment ) while play got stopped for their players to tie laces.

Initially I was OK, we do share a bit, the work ethic, the organisation etc, and I'm actually quite proud of that, on hearing the rest of it it's lazy BS.

Right just had a listen (it's not a podcast I usually listen to...... its shit and only generally focuses on those certain few clubs) and he talks shit, makes us out to be dirty as opposed to stronger. We're strong and organised when out of possession but that's not how we create so many chances. Never mentions the Arsenal gamesmanship when we were headline news last season for it.
  6. It's like two players go shoulder to shoulder and the weaker one gets the decision. I agree that the booking was because of the previous incidents.
  7. Do you have access to BBC iplayers MotD ? Forward to 7mins 51secs and tell me where the Arsenal players hands go.
  8. Hang on, the last one where he actually get booked, the Arsenal player does exactly the same to him but it becomes playground rules where if someone cries they get the decision. If the second one is a yellow, which it strictly by the rules, then the game gets abandoned for lack of players left on the pitch. The first is a red if its deemed to have been forceful, seems like it wasn't.
  9. Didn't see two yellows myself but the first one was possibly a straight red in itself depending on the force used which you can't really see on TV.

    St James' Park

I'm not so sure about that but it wouldn't be as large an extension as the Gallowgate.
  11. FWIW if the snide plays in the return game, I don't think what's happened (twice now) will be forgotten.

Not even sure there'd be a need for reduced capacity. I don't think Liverpool did, they built above and round with the stand staying open. East Stand possibly.

I don't mind it. There are definite similarities particularly when out of possession.

I noticed the clock on the TV now continues beyond 90mins, where as it used to just stop on 90.

    Dogawful Officiating

I think the game needs to look at some sort of rule change to stop repeated breaking up of play from deep. Forwards committing cheap fouls to stop breaks and defences can reset. Man City and Arsenal are doing it a lot.
  16. I don't think he picks a team to be a twat against, I think it's a reaction to the game that teams play and Arsenal are becoming increasingly snide.
  17. That lunge was the only thing he did of note on Saturday. I wonder if officials might view him differently from now on ?
  18. I thought it was a red straight away. It doesn't need to make contact if the intent is there. Like throwing a punch but missing.
  19. @The Prophet. This angle gives a better view. You can see Longstaffs sock turn, meaning theres contact. Another couple of centimetres and theres a possible break there. Haevertz is as snide a player as there is in the Premier league.
  20. Oh and if anyone wants to take a look at the Bruno actually gets booked, their player puts his hands into exactly the same area on Bruno, difference being our player didn't throw himself to the deck holding his face
