It's not cheating the system at all. The system was designed specifically to be used that way and it has been. I'll keep banging on about it, it's like the associated parties stuff, it's only when someone looks like wrecking the closed shop that the rules that were designed to benefit a few clubs need changing. It's a sensible rule true enough, what irks is that it was a sensible rule 3yrs ago but it, like the FMV and associated parties rules, everyone knows they're only being implemented because they are scared shit of us.

I don't mind the loan rule in essence, or the FMV stuff. What's galling is that it's done mid season purely to try and stop us. Was the stopping of Chelseas tactic of 8yr contracts to stretch FFP done straight away ? No.

I see it as a no lose situation. We haven't been embarrassed, we've learned loads so far. We qualify and our profile and coffers are boosted. We qualify for Europa, we'll continue to learn and grow the profile and possibly do very well. We finish bottom, we get fewer games to give the top 4 another push. We are only moving forward at this stage. Neither of the 3 alternatives are going to stop that.

Depends who the opposition is and the rest of the make up of our team.
