you really didn't believe him, did ya? He spouts crap in the media all the time....or shall I say TO the media. Of course not, the point is that the rule says that all teams will have to field their strongest team, and he says he won't play his strongest team, and even adds an "of course" to it. It's just annoying how just because it's Fergie Man Utd, nobody cares. it's not that nobody cares........it's that nobody dare care.

is it possiblt to type without conviction ?

Thinking about it makes me feel abit sick tbh, although i fully expect to feel nothing if we go down tomorrow, I honestly dont think it will sink in until the new seasons kick off in the Championship and Premier League. It will be very strange next season viewing the Prem as an outsider. next season shouldn't be strange for that reason. the only league you should be concerned about is the one we are in. as such we aren't outsiders, they are.

it's like the first time you go to wembley...afterwards you think "was that it ?"

I think Robert had a lot of confidence in his ability but his assists rate suggest he wasn't really selfish at all. I remember him putting it on a place for Acuna at Goodison when 99% of players would have had a go themselves how many times can you remember hom shooting from 35yds when the shot was never really on but plenty other options were ? I know your point, but how many times did Robert put the ball in the net when the shot was never really on tbf ginola done that aswell Not half as often though. not shots but scoring or creating. scoring a seemingly simple goal but looking back at where he got the ball and thinking he shouldn't have got there, also i can't remember too many times when robert took pressure off team mates by holding the ball up however i do remember him dropping his team mates in the cack a lot by giving the ball away very easy in bad poaitions. both very good players, pleased we had them. my own opinion is marginally ginola.

Beat me to it. I rarely agree with Madras but this time they're spot on. If we do go down let’s do it with dignity. and pride in ourselves. otherwise we will prove those right in the media who portray us as believing a place at the top table is ours by right and that we aren't loyal supporters.

Big point. He's our engine room, he's the one that is meant to drive the team forward and that's never been his game. Butt is a s*** player now but he has too much responsibility at this club. Signing Kevin Nolan was one of the worst decisions in recent seasons. The last thing Butt needed at this stage of his career was another slow cart horse alongside him. Must admit I was disappointed with Barton on the few occasions he played this season in that he quite often ended up playing deeper than Butt. No one has stepped up to be our Gerrard/Lampard all season. No one has even tried to be a poor man's version. quite a few times this season and last i've saw butt looking round and having to go forward because, as you've pointed out, no-one else would. reads the game well, wins most the challenges he goes in for and would like to give the ball 10yds to someone who's moved into a good position, unfortunatly he has to try and play 40yard eye of the needle passes.

i was at filbert street when we could have gone down when keegan first arrived. when they equalised and al; looked gloomy we took on the attitude of "fuck it, we are newcastle, we are more than winning or losing" and we were loud and proud. we need that tomorrow regardless of the result and outcome.

no 4th option........giant meteor hits birmingham or summink........like........man.

Signing Kevin Nolan was one of the worst decisions in recent seasons. even at man utd at his peak he wasn't the engine room. it was left to scholes or keane to be more box to box-like. the last couple of season he may just have cut it at the top flight if we didn;t have the movement of subbuteo players.

legs went a couple of years ago. always expected to be a playmaker at nufc which isn't his game. he's also a scapegoat and those that say things like "disgrace" are taking out their arses.

i've been out painting white stripes on crows.

and i still say ginola done more for the team overall than robert

he didn't mean the clubs player of the year....he meant the national award, don't you remember............like giggsy just won( ) Even better credentials that award like, f***ing hell Ginola's goal record and productivity dont even compare to Robert's man, honestly, how can you people have such short memories? stats and fuck all else

Ginola wasn't fit to shine Robert's shoes man not with all those ciggies he smoked. however put shoes on both their feet and ginola would leave robert someway behind
-
to be fair it's mainly down to the injuries that weren't his fault No it isn't. what is it then.. ? " he didn't want to be here in the first place" maybe ?
