thats basically my list but add in coventry,q.p.r,peterborough,watford,ipswich,boro. won't make them all buti'll get to a few. and i would also like to point out that (i think) the last time we played a competitive fixture against scunthorpe (may be wrong but it's the last time i can remember palying them) in the 74 fa cup run, was my first game. i may have come full circle.

deffo the bit about packing away ends. i haven't been away in 3 years but i've pencilled in half a dozen already and some mates who packed in their season tickets under souness are up for it aswell.
-
anyone know when it is ? i've a wedding and a foreign holiday in august and the way they pack games in in the championship at the start i could easily miss a dozen or so games.
-
lets wait a month or two to see if we'll be challengers.
-
the biggest high profile departure will be probably be about 20,000 "fans". we are in need of a clear out on the terraces as much as on the pitch.

spot on wullie. i've worked with most for 20yrs or so and they know i am very honest about my football (when we are shit i'll say it and tend not to bleme the ref for every dropped point). two of the mackems i work with just asked "what d'you think will happen now ?" and they even admitted they had been shit enough to go down also. we've all been dismayed by the lack of any fight. like i've said in the past if someone takes the piss. shrug your shoulders and say "it's my team whatever happens, i was there for the highs i'll be there for the lows " then with a knowing sarcastic glint your eye "you'd do the same......wouldn't you ?"

there's a story in the guardian saying that too offering the deal, personal terms etc is the easy bit. the hard bit is persuading him that the other areas of the club are going to be to his satisfaction.
-
Will make him even more keen tbh. One because he will be hurting from it just like we are, and two because the opportunity to come here, invest and make us a good side again is too good to refuse. fine if he has the money. if the plan is to borrow too much again in the hope of getting it right than i'd hope for someone else.
-
It's that sort of arrogant nonsense that got your club into the mess you're in now. seemed like someone taking the piss to me.
-
theres a few there i'll be making an effort to get to. never been to blackpool, derby as in pride park, coventry as in the ricoh, donny, scunthorpe. sheffield is always a canny trip. i'll quite confidently predict i'll be at more aways this coming season than the previous half dozen.
-
Should be going all out to get him, should have done last summer to be fair. Husselkep would be a decent addition also. Whether we could afford their wages is more a sticking point than them being interested in playing for us in the championship. Id expect us to go for them and the deals to fall through because we will only offer them a pittance. Skjelbred makes £175.000 a year, I think we can do better than £30k-ish a week. Not to mention he wants to play for us. not sure if we can actually. not now.

Three words Per Cilian Skejlbred. he's just been subbed by rosenborg so he's either crap or just sustained a life threatening injury.

gonna have to see it through sober. 5am start tomorrow.

Unnecessarily personal mate, everyone is gutted about what happened. By the way, we were heading towards the bottom of the league even under Shepherd, and doing critical damage to our finances at the same time. How many people were crying out for another Albert Luque in the transfer window? Stop whinging. What was it you were doing in that first post then? (That's a rhetorical question BTW) Posting facts. My post wasn't personal at all, though I realise those who think Keegan is s**** and can't admit it's been proven to be possible to have a worse Board than the previous one may think it was personal. do you understand why many wanted the previous board out and were prepared to take the risk though ?

check the time of the post in the alan shearer confirmed thread. I quoted you. makes sense now.

like i said at the time.....i'll tell you when i find out if that is actually what happened. and what division do you think we will end up in before you make your mind up. doesn't matter. i'm only going to make my mind up when i get some evidence. i'm not going to say something happened when i have no idea if it did or not just because one of the people involved is an odious little t***. youll be waiting when we're in league one. grow some balls ffs. and say "ok then it was all wise's fault" when i/we actually know sod all about what happened. even ashley has admitted his mistake in getting rid of Wise. it's f***ing obvious ashley has caused our downfall, not keegan. i never said keegan did (though his timing stank imo) and getting rid of wise to accomodate your one hope is admitting sod all. hardly. he's had to choose between a popular manager and a bureaucrat two times, the first time he made a mammoth error, the second time he's realised his mistake and went with the right option. albeit too late. anyway, i couldnt care less if keegan shat in dennis's locker, i'd still back him over wise. a scout no matter how good is not going to manage a side for you. thats the point. outside of the loathing of dennis wise i've seen or heard no evidence to make me think he had to "choose" in the keegan fiasco. show me any sort of evidence and i'll be right behind you.
-
Ooh, yes, such a horrible timing. Like when Curbishley left West Ham, and look where they are now. yes cos they got in a good replacement and ran the club well, i'd also say zola had a head start with a better more balanced squad with decent youngsters coming through to supplement it, we got kinnear
