Re-read the very first sentence again mate. Why worry about Ashley taking a hit? If he runs the club into the ground, it's his loss. Someone will buy it eventually and run it properly. He's suing the corporate entity that is NUFC, not the individual Mike Ashley. Whatever settlement is reached will come from club funds, or do you really think Ashley will reach for his personal checkbook to pick up the tab? Wasn't favorable towards Keegan before and I certainly have no love for him now. I'd like to see people still argue that he "loves the club" when he seems willing to take a few million quid from our coffers when we're desperate for cash in January. but if he has been wronged be should stand up for himself (like he seems to be doing) regardless of his love for the club.

there is a contract and it's terms and there will be players and agents who had/hadn't been contacted.

another "source close to the squad"

Unfortunately, it's not the job of lawyers to expose the truth - only to help their clients win. but we should find out more than we already do.

good. hopefully might find the truth behind what happened now.

My thought exactly  And your problem is? Looks like Norwegian isn't good liked on this forum. Harry is a pain in the ass not Norway. BTW where is Harry? hibernating

Pointless reacting until we know what it was the were chanting. If it was the Mido stuff, not sure how that would stand up with the 'racial chanting' accusation. Have you ever been arrested and subsequently charged with racial chanting by police? I haven't. Morons. turning into an airplane sketch

will there be a wankfest over arsenals youth policy in tomorrows papers ?

sounds so easy....if as has happened the keeper comes and doesn't reach it just once he is called a mug and any flick has the keeper out of the goal. watch the way stoke do it,there'll be at least one player in there who has no intenetion of going for the ball who just wants to stand in the way of the advancing keeper.

In his grave by the time all 3 are fully fit and playable. easter then ?
-
it'll be interesting to see how kinnear plays it should all 3 get fit.

the managers dilema. take off who is playing better or keep on the player who is usually more likely ? the more i read these threads the more it basically looks like people prefer martins as he is more exciting but the results generally just about favour owen.
-
Or just as likely ping right into the top corner. Which is why we love him! i guess you'll find it isn't as likely.

Unsporting conduct these days innit? Is it? I'm sure I've seen it recently where the referee told the opposing player to move away from the line with the threat of a yellow card. under what rule ?

If we're focusing on lack of support from the FB alone, I think you're neglecting the fact that Enrique gets forward even less than Beye here. That's true. But on the left Jonas can cut in effectively but not so on the right. I guess that's not focusing solely on lack of support from the fb but either Beye has to push forward more or Jonas has to switch wings. I don't even mind Jonas starting on the right then drifting over to the left when Charlie has the ball. Create a 3 v 2 situation against their rm and rb. I actually think that Jonas cuttingin from the left would actually benefit Enriques attacking side, he'd have so much more space to maybe get in more advanced positions down the left. It also left us a bit vulnerable a couple of times where he wondered over to the right and Enrique was left one against two when we lost possession. thats when clever midfielders get into a position they can help out and also cover if need be (see sellars, lee and speed)

delaps throw ins.........i'm sure back in the 70's (stop fucking yawning) there was a long throw in specialist and there was bothere as someone stood in front of him and jumped when he went to take it,made the throw drop a few yards short which made all the difference. the ref tried to make the defender move back. the defender argued back and explained later to the press that he explained to the ref that the thrower innerrer has to stay off the pitch till he releases the ball so it can't be obstruction and there is no distance you have to be away from someone taking a throw in,unlike free kicks. did this actually happen or am i dreaming it all up ?
