Hadaway and s****. I was there when we lost to Derby 4-1 when we really were in the clarts. whats the difference between then and now ? Back then relegation to Division 3 could have meant the club folded. The situation was a lot worse than the one we currently find ourselves in. as in this could only be the start of the process ?

this leak was before the draw and public so if it is derren brownish the other predictions ought to be out there somewhere. i've always thought the euro competitions (and world cups and euro champuioships were rigged)

he's rob leeish.....more goals and marginally not as good defensivly. you've got your head up your arse if you wouldn't want him here.

you reckon...say 2 years time,he's been at barcelona and things have went as well for him as terry henry. ashley has spent wads and in 2010 we scarpe 4th place ? do you think he'd come if we offered the best package and the top 3 didn't want him ?

i think you are right apart from smith

yip, everyone i've asked gets karelse eventually andf forgets tommy wright. leads to me to think your a smart arse who's heard the question before.

if you've heard it please don't answer to look smart. this is not a trick question. seven keepers have played (in goal) for NUFC in the prem....name them ?. 5 easy 1 tricky 1 very tricky

in the strawberry after the man utd 5-0 game and the police, lord love'em, made the man utd supporters coaches wait for about 15mins directly outside the pub so they were trapped there having to watch us ridicule from the pub.

I could see any CM partnership that doesn't include Faye being ran over too easy. and you'll see i put faye in midfield *2

some ? come on grass..the vast majority. In the earlier days it was a good majority. Makes it even more special. You weren't always there so you had to paint your own picture going off the radio commentary. I'd relish MOTD to see the goals, to see if they were anything like I pictured them to be. Half in half like. MOTD today? What's on the other channel. Again, desensitised to it all now to a degree. I listened to the play-off against the mackems on the radio at a mackems house with his mackem family. hope it was the away one.

i have some good mackem mates and they reckon they are gone. 5 in midfield at home to everton sealed it and dare i say it...they reckon keane has lost the plot. -

sitting in the dining room up against the ducted air vent listening to metro and their match reports of away games. they were only allowed something like 3 per half.(late 70's)

i've actually been impressed with owen since he got back. holds the ball up well and finds a toon player and as sniffer says if we had a midfielder who could find him he has the movement still (check the blackburn game....aye i know he fucked the first one) IF he can be fed.

http://img182.imageshack.us/img182/1193/20070720196vr8.th.jpg That pic there takes me back. We were playing football behind SJP on the night we beat Bolton 3-1 away in 95, listening to the match on the radio. If I remember right, we went to the top of the table that night and we stayed there for the most part. I remember it being a warm evening, very cool, with a red sky. i was there..it was the ginola and neil cox night, the night when english eyes were opened to what ginola could do.

where the fuck to start, for a start off it's not "love" in that way, more of a brother that you love but can hate and want to hurt but have 100% loyalty to and is involved in every period of your growing. memories......too many, these stand out. 3-0 up at home to liverpool after about 30mins, 74-75 (4-1ft) and wondering...why can't we do this all the time, aged 8 the malty smell from the breweries at night matches 3-1 new years day and 3-1 new years day the looks on the faces of locals when NUFC came to town in the 80's wilderness years. me and eddie (my dads mate) getting laughed at in the club for saying things are changing and we'll be challenging soon (back then everyone would ask about "your team"....."what happened to your team yesterday?"..within months it was "we"...."we can win this league".....fickle bastards than as now for too many) why i reallly have this thing for NUFC (and football) is through the shitty times...school worries..no job worries..relationship breakdowns...nightmare pregnancies...parentsl illnesses....NUFC and football have gave me respite. the outside is shut out,all the worries disappear and only the football matters for that little while.............in truth NUFC is my respite from the real world.

i think they should name names and give examples of what they mean.
